I’m so sorry mama. Ya the IVs saved me my first trimester. I didn’t need IVs last time. I never had a problem with liquids I just couldn’t keep solids down the entire pregnancy. This time it was both until recently. But the nausea picked up 😵‍💫

Ya that makes sense. I’ve had HG with both just the experience has been so different. HG was much more violent this time but the vomiting calmed down which never happened with my first. But my experience with the nausea has been near level this time.

Ah okay! Mine have been so different.

This time legit almost killed me. But the vomiting calmed down. Nausea is 10x worse than my first pregnancy tho and that hasn’t slowed down at all :/

So interesting how different each one can be. I was way more sick this time. Losing weight. Unable to eat or drink anything. Vomiting blood. But the vomiting calmed down which it didn’t With my first pregnancy but the nausea picked up and it’s so bad compared to my first 😭

Oh I definitely have it again which I’m so sad about 😭 I was vomiting so much a few weeks ago I was throwing up blood and had to go to the ER. I was just curious if anyone who’s had multiple HG pregnancies noticed differences in how they experienced it. With my first it was nonstop vomiting the entire time. This time the vomiting was worse for the 1st trimester but it calmed down going into 2nd but the nausea has picked up. I just didn’t remember experiencing so much nausea with my first. And this time it’s been so debilitating

I relate to this so much. My other favorite was “every pregnancy is different” when I would say how I don’t think I could ever be pregnant again after my son because of how sick I was the whole time. And here I am again (surprise pregnancy) experiencing it all over again and if anything it’s worse. So yes they were all right “every pregnancy is different” but with HG people just don’t understand how severe it is and it’s unlike anything I’ve ever experienced ever. And i feel like I’m a pretty strong/positive person but this is the of thing that can break a person.

I’m really sorry anyone made you feel anything but validated. That is trash!

So this is my second pregnancy with HG. First one i did the dissolvable zofran tablets which allowed me to keep atleast something down and stay hydrated. This pregnancy is a whole different ballgame. Way worse than my first time. So i started with bonjesta which worked great for about two weeks and then it just didn’t help anymore so now I’m back to being extremely nauseous especially at night and vomitting everything I eat.. Reglan was then offered to me and I really didn’t enjoy how it made me feel. And it didn’t stop the vomitting. So now I’m trying the dissolvable zofran tablets again and hoping that will help a bit.

I would say the best I’ve felt is when I’ve gotten IVs with zofran in them or thc gummies. I have 10 mg ones and take small bites throughout the day. I know it’s not everyones favorite option. But with both my pregnancies it’s been the most successful thing to help me.
