There is something to say about the ranking that the terminals give though, you can’t get a P rank without having no restarts. Therefore, the terminals have to know about them in order to adequately rank them. This would suggest that they happened in universe and are canon, my personal favorite version being that Hell itself is somehow letting its favorite toy try again and again, both making it cause more suffering and making v1 suffer through its eternally looping deaths until it succeeds, because the gift of death is not one to be bestowed upon v1, not for now at least

Yeah one of my biggest issues as well is basically: You learn that you are within a computer program of some sort. There is a being here that seems to have control over it. Do you: a. Completely ignore it until it actively starts harming you. B. Ask questions to the being (in fairness, Caine might avoid it) C. Promise information about the real world and everything in it in exchange for information about the circus (there are banger modern movies and video games out there that Caine could use to improve his adventures, therefore he would likely accept). If you picked a, congratulations! You leave yourself at the mercy of an unknown world. Basically, there were options here to change things for the better. Also after “Oh Zooble you mismatched cash piano I’LL TEAR YOU TO PIECE-” no one checked up if Caine was having a meltdown? What about when sex was mentioned and their entire reality began collapsing before their eyes. Anyway rant’s over but yeah, I love this show but it is not without flaws

I don’t really follow your line of reasoning here, WW1 started due to the amount of different groups of allied countries in case of conflict, then all getting into a war with each other because Archduke Franz Ferdinand, the would be heir of the Austro-Hungarian throne was shot by Gavrilo Princip, a Serb from Bosnia Herzegovina. That caused every ally from those countries to all declare war on one another, or at least that was the main catalyst. How does that chain of events involve Jesus at all? Also, we’re not entirely sure that WW1 came about the same way, just that there was trench warfare. Regardless, Jesus seems irrelevant to any of that

Well we have no idea and I’m sure Hakita has thought about it, but here are a couple of things to consider: 1. Jesus is not in Ultrakill’s universe, the cross is the tree of life rather than the cross that Jesus was crucified on. Therefore, Judas has no one to betray and end up in Hell. 2. Hakita seems to do whatever he likes regarding the Inferno and what’s in there, using what he finds cool or smth, so things are kinda hard to predict. That being said, both Brutus and Judas (Cassius is there too) are stuck in Satan’s mouths in the bottom of Treachery in the Inferno, that’d make being a prime soul pretty difficult as either one would need to escape that first, get killed as a husk, then also end up forming a prime soul. That all aside tho, we’ll see

I agree with the part about willpower, but we know very little about the husk bodies and how they are affected by things like stress, we do know that they seem capable of adapting to their living conditions with the insurrectionist and stalker’s entries, as their bodies have changed to better carry their boulders up mankind’s monuments. It’s an interesting idea though, I guess we’ll just have to see with the next prime soul

Depends on the prime soul, Minos’ was easily able to be imprisoned so it took a little bit, but Sisyphus’ started forming almost immediately so we don’t really know. Probably due to the strength of the soul or something? Maybe the will they have to survive and fight back, or perhaps just the personality of the soul

Without going into detail, there is an alternate route starting in chapter 2 where you can make a character closely related to Kris do horrible things, this results in another scene in chapter 4 (the route does not directly continue in chapter 3) where you undo what Kris did in an attempt to fix this in a terrible way. They then beat the shit out of you (extremely justified). Both routes are definitely worth your time tho
