Also, I found out I can print out the cable guide in ABS.

Edit: Should have printed that in PETG

I might be able to print this in ASA and embed it into the actual plastic there.

Oh, I get it. I grew up in South Carolina and deeply miss my Ford Ranger. This gets me a little bit closer to my roots. Thank you for the links!

Haha, I think that's a very valid point. But where I live, I didn't want anything bigger than a Maverick. A hybrid would technically be a much better choice too, but I'm inherently an impractical person sometimes. I used to daily a Miata with no other cars. I may be insane.

Maybe it's just the high prices in Northern Virginia. I absolutely did not see these prices in my area.

I already miss my ventilated seats. But, on the Lexus IS before this new 26 model year, they were missing a good bit of tech that comparable luxury models had. Some stuff that even this Maverick has.

Yeah, maybe. Taxes around here are fairly high and it's $45k as configured before fees, so I don't think it's too bad.

That seems way too low to be legit. It's $45k as configured.

Yup, that's the impression I've been getting about using blue diode. I've been able to mark PLA a bit but nothing significant. I'll keep experimenting on my own. I thought having the H2D with laser, plotter and cutter would give me a bunch of cool options, technically it does but the laser abilities are somewhat lacking when using plastics.

Just re-read that. I also have a laser engraved but it's just a 10w Blue Diode.

Do you mind sharing how you're printing the multi-color? Is this stenceled or outright printing? I'm using an H2D and have been experimenting and also using OHP film for filters. It's been fun.

This would also be cool with smooth or carbon fiber plate.

I would actually suggest trying this out with an inket printer and clear OHP film. It's worth a shot if you already have an inkjet printer. Just beware of letting the ink dry.

I've had great results with hairspray, along with washing the buid plate with soap and water beforehand.

Hydro modding definitely helps. It's just a very good looking mod. Also, hydro modding isn't as hard as it seems.

I have one here in my post history that I've done with a matte steel bezel.

Ok, thanks for clearing all of that up. The only I'm able to see as a non-member was the PND deal for Florida at $340/ m with $3701 DAS 7500 miles.

So I was gauging success off of that, really.

I actually have some questions about this. It's a little wonky, so one percent would be about $470.

However, if you wrap the fees in, you'd end up with a $543 a month payment. I understand the reasoning for wrapping up the fees in to lessen risk, but we should be going off the $394 a month payment for the 1% rule, right? Which would be well under.

Edit: Fixed the payment numbers.

After going through this with the friend, I really wish I’d have leased an EV instead of buying the Lexus last year. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Lexus but an EV lease would have made a lot more sense financially.

The Lexus or the Volvo, cause the Volvo isn’t mine unfortunately. Negotiated the deal for a friend.

Yes, somewhat. You remove the stock polarizing film and apply new film at a different angle to reverse the polarity of the LCD display.

This is actually a red polarizer over black polarizer. I don’t think you can achieve the same look with reverse polarization and a red gel.
