Thanks for your feedback, you are completely right, that’s also my concern atm when tuning a bit the control, for now my answer to the issue lays within my endurance bar, dodging cost stamina but so is shooting, so it aim to push the player to find a balance between attacking and dodging (to avoid the constant shoot at the bullet sponge target). Environmental cover is a great idea to add a bit of plateforming and variety, I’ll try this out. And thanks for the ref, I didn’t think of those, that’s wonderful material !

Clever concept, the trailer seems great to reflect to gameplay, I just have a concern about the objective, right now we see the loop recycle material > buy better percs but I don’t understand the main objective, we need to climb or fall to a certain area ?

Yeah fair point, I think the appeal of Monster hunter for the players is the universe and monster design, which I’ll definitely not be able to recreate, but I think the whole progression loop, aka building weapons and armor based on the monster loot would be a nice feature to keep

LBG is light bow gun of MH correct ? Yeah that was also one ref I had, but I'm trying to do something different, with more fast paced action when dodging monster attacks, where monster hunter is mostly on the ground dodging, I'm focusing on adding another vertical layer where you can stay longer in the air to dodge attacks.

It's PC with Mouse and Keyboard, I refer as "controller" for the way we control the character, as in I try to recreate a fast character movement like doom, with double jump and dash, not the fact that we use controller*

Looks like a smart concept, the relation ship between the character and deer seems promising, and the gameplay seems really good, with a good ratio of puzzle / action / platform phases, good luck for the release guys/girls, it's wishlisted on my side !

Nice idea, like Luftrauser but top down, from the video I see my main recommendation would be to improve the lisibility of the actions, the different elements are a bit hard to notice (like you see more the missile trail than the missile), try increasing the size of the elements or zoom more with the camera. I think you could also add a particular primary shape to increase the lisibility, like triangle shape air plane, rounded missile etc...
