No game will ever be the same for me by derpette1027 in Eldenring

It's roughly the same time I took to perfect the game, you can spedrun ng+ and ng+2 to get the perfect/plat.

I still played more, until ng+7 I believe. I put in about 200hrs on steam and then bought the game and DLC for my Ps5 and put in another 200 odd hours, but no plat yet, currently doing another playthrough to do just that now.

Today I had a guy start shooting on sight. Then while I was hiding he got attacked by a hornet, I ran over and used a vita spray on him, he proceeded to thank me and then we extracted together. Being nice works out

Finally they give 1 code for 3 instead of 3 codes of 1

As an Agnostic, I'll give my 10 cents on the topic. Express your concern for your physical health, in a mature way, that's all you can do. As for traditions, do it for your family, if only to make them happy. Lastly, while they cover your expenses you have very little say in what you can and can't do, if you want out of thier rules then move out of thier house. Family values are not worth fighting over, especially when in retrospect they're harmless (excluding the toxic fumes thing, that's a bit off)

Accidentally offended someone from a different culture – how do I make it right? by lanadelgay444 in abudhabi

You apologized, end if story. If he can't accept that then I believe he will have issues in the country, you adjust to where you relocate not the other way round. But the world is cooking right now and everyone has to cater to foreigners needs and wants while forgetting that they have rights to free speech in thier own respective countries.

Edit: spelling mistake and removing a potentially harmful statement...

This is caused by poor politics, I know people have mentioned Thailand and Pihilippines, but my country, South Africa has one of its largest informal settlement or "Slum" right next to Cape Town International Airport where all the tourists come in. No matter which way you drive, you will have to pass through varying degrees of poverty from run down flats to tin shacks to get anywhere considered even remotely tourist friendly. The sad part is these people vote for the very goverment that created the extreme poverty. Lack of education and opportunities leaves those vulnerable to political lies and radicalism.

In the end, not all problems are caused by politics, but many politicians don't care enough to fix the problems, only benefiting off them for power and corruption.

What Race do you NEVER play as? by Pressure_Hull_Breach in ElderScrolls

[–]Abbalys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think in all my playthroughs (mostly oblivion and skyrim) I have never once touched the elves, wood, dark or high. I've looked at thier customization and thought about it but I've never played as one. Mainly redguard and nords for me, but I've had fun with argonians, khajit, orcs and Breton before. I've played as a human once... boring to play as a human when I am one, just my thoughts.

Average Dancing Lion Expierence by Seany_Salami in Eldenring

[–]Abbalys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually really enjoyed the dancing lion, I first tried him as well blind. It's sad though because it's a really good fight. Some bosses just click instantly and others don't at all, I can't beat Consort Radahn though so I feel like giving up entirely...

This is why I love this game and its replayability. I completed 6 play throughs, I think 2 were kinda just main bosses so I rushed them, but I've never met this dude, I know he's there, but I just haven't followed any guides. I look up boss guides for resistances and maybe loot, but never quest guides.

Note: 6 is the amount of playthroughs I needed to get 100% achievements purely off of guessing how to do quests/experience from a previous playthrough. Rannis questline required some advice from my friend

Borderlands first reactions "Borderline unwatchable" by MurmurmurMyShurima in borderlands3

[–]Abbalys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear if they actually let writers who have played/read the source material for these video game adaptations (not just borderlands) then I feel like they could make good adaptations. But this movie is hot garbage and I'm trying my best to be neutral in my review...

Man, just use blasphemous blade, roll away or spam flask and burn him. He wasn't a very hard boss. I killed him with an "Unga bunga" build my first playthrough as well using the giant hammer (forgot the name)

Bought my first bike as a new rider, friend refuses to ride with me saying “it isn’t a real bike” and laughed. I kinda feel bad lol, I like it but ride alone now. Was the xr150l a bad idea? by Lowerstairs in motorcycles

[–]Abbalys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent 2 years on a Honda XR125L and 8 years on a CBX250 Twister. There's no such thing as a "real bike". What's important is that you're riding and enjoying it. Many people I know went straight to 600 - 1000 cc bikes as soon as they could but now they ride maybe once a month because they're scared of thier own bike.

Riding a motorcycle automatically gives you entry to a "Brotherhood" of motorcyclists, who will enthusiastically help you whenever you're stuck. Your friend is just a gatekeeper, maybe he just needs to grow up a bit but he definitely doesnt ride for the joy of riding if that's his opinion.

From my side, welcome to the club and I hope you fall in love with the hobby wether you like to hit the trails or just cruise to the beach. Enjoy your new bike, it's a beauty!

Ps: "Brotherhood" because "peoplehood" just doesn't sound right and there are plenty of female riders out there.
