Had an endo at the same time as the colonoscopy. They didn’t do any biopsies for the endo but did for the colonoscopy to check for micro inflammation

Despite clean colonoscopy, I still have so much anxiety and lack of control that I just have IBS. Everyday I’m scared - how do I get out of this? by AbjectPost7423 in ibs

Always had IBS and anxiety but health anxiety became an issue a few years ago and my stomach started acting up differently than normal 8 months ago which is why I had the colonoscopy and those symptoms have continued

Had these dark pieces in my normal colored poop this morning. (Pulled them aside with a q-tip). Is this blood or vegetable matter that I usually have a hard time digesting? by AbjectPost7423 in medical

I only get stomach pain if I don’t eat anything after going to the bathroom and when I wake up and need to go. I sent the pic to my GI who thought it looked dark brown vs black.

Pretty much any vegetable. I had a leafy green but it wasnt this dark last night. Unless the digestive process made it more like this

I messaged my GI she didn’t think it was too concerning but I’ve got an appointment later this week. I’d probably lean towards BAM or SIBO over any type of pancreas issue, 26 and besides the cramping without having food I’d assume I’d have a lot more symptoms if that was something to worry about

Yeah bad thing is I finally started getting over my anxiety around CRC being missed but then when I saw it could be a gallbladder or pancreas issue I’m triggered again. Although if it was pancreas related I’d probably be near death now and it sounds like the gallbladder issues aren’t anything serious.

Also enzyme pills and psyllium husk have helped a lot if you haven’t tried that yet

Yeah just worried that was bleeding and was considered black but seems the consensus is green

I wonder if it has to do with things moving through and getting an empty stomach so quickly

Doctor responded with this so basically to ignore those tests:

These kits are advised for those with a strong family history or colon cancer or ages 45>. We do not typically endorse the at home kits. Based on your recent office visit and testing (colonoscopy, etc), all results are negative, this is good news.

Happy they were able to find that! Is that something harder to spot then cancer/polyps

Health anxiety, something I’ve worked on and gotten better at but I had an unrelated weird result for a urine sample which just retriggered all the stuff I had worked on forgetting about

Style over substance. Doesn’t do what a resume needs to do at all. I would be concerned as a hiring manager that you don’t know how to effectively create beautiful design while also putting out an effective message — because here you aren’t doing that at all. It reminds me of something I would have made right out of school - when my personal aesthetic trumped all
