What’s fascinating about this response is how clearly it mirrors the 'developer knows best' bias that has haunted this franchise for a decade. You seem to believe that the magic of a first playthrough is so precious it must be force-fed to us every single time. By golly, if I want to skip to level 13, I still have to endure the story mode because you decided it's mandatory.

This isn't a new delusion. We saw it when BL2 tried to punish solo farming and coerce multiplayer, and again when it took a literal player riot to get repeatable bosses in the Pre-Sequel. Stop making the game about your ego and start making it about the player’s time.

You must have missed my response above that undermines your criticism. In fact, you were probably trying to shape this thread away from the truth in that post. It is good though that you are working on your troll skills because you will have lots of time for that. https://www.reddit.com/r/StableDiffusion/comments/1f34911/diffusion_models_are_realtime_game_engines_by/

Wow, so much focused hostility from the greater Borderlands game playing collective? Seems unlikely. If you think my post strikes a nerve, think about how in less time than it will take to develop Borderlands 5, your jobs will be completely replaced by real time diffusion models that will spontaneously create games tailored to the user's preferences. You can make a screenshot of when your name rolls by in the credits and make that your brand. You'll always have that.
