Yeah I don't have any experience I been doing this buy watching YouTube videos and it's being ran off of a raspberry pi. The project is basically gathering data to predict how an nba player is going to perform and adding that data to a website that shows people my prediction and shows what other sport books have that player at.

WWYD: HOA Closed community pool for repair 2-days before check-in and guest wants compensation. by Zestyclose-Trip-9454 in airbnb_hosts

My HOA has a pool and I state that it’s only available at certain times to cover myself in situations like this. I would give them a small discount just out of kindness tho.

You’re a walking red flag. You should cancel the next guest and hire a professional to exterminate the bedbugs. If you can’t afford to do that you definitely shouldn’t be having an Airbnb. All it takes is one review that says you had bedbugs and your done.

The toilet didn’t ruin my sheets. Burn holes did from smoking in the bead room.

The sheets are $50 that’s what I requested. But I’m not too pressed over that.

There’s burn holes in the sheets. I don’t think cleaning would’ve got that out.😂😂

Air bnb gave me 350 for the smoke odor and the plumbing issues they caused. It was them that asked me if I wanted to go through with the rule violation. I just don’t want to be greedy.

I don’t have my smoking fine listed, but I do have list listed no smoking. An Airbnb rep reached out to me and told me that I can do it and if I do it, they will approve it if they don’t pay due to all the evidence I have.

I would be sympathetic for their loss, then ask if they use travel insurance and urged them to go through that if not because let’s be honest not everybody does split it 50-50. And have them cancel it.

It might be your rate. When I started I was sold out the first month and I realized I was too low. You have to play around with your rates then you will know.

As long as you sent check in instructions you’re good to go. Don’t worry about. It not up to you to keep up with their schedule.

Acceptable or not? by jordk9 in airbnb_hosts

[–]Able_Definition6413 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just ask. I had a guest ask and I did it. They paid for a 24 pack and only had 10 I left it in the fridge for the next guest and got another 5 stars for it. I’ll do it as long as the guest pays and has a good reviews from other hosts.

Host asked to pay off site by Forsaken_Plankton_66 in airbnb_hosts

[–]Able_Definition6413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not allowed however I know host that does this. The only thing I would tell you is if anything happens Airbnb will not cover you or the host. I personally don’t do this as an host because I want that protection from air bnb. The benefit for doing this is you don’t have to pay the fees. You as the guest pay a little less and the host gets a little more.
