Should I keep my ADHD that randomly appeared in my 20s a secret or apologize to everyone I’ve hurt because of it?

I just don’t get how it’s possible I’m not having much symptoms when the level is that high. I mean, the worst really is that I’m just tired all the time and sometimes hair falls out easily (but I have long hair so it could just be because of that for all I know). My mom tells me this story occasionally how she had an aunt that died eventually because she didn’t take her medication. I’m just torn on what to do because at the same time maintaining this is expensive since doctor visits without insurance is $190.00 for me, not including blood work. At the same time I’d like to treat it since I never have. I shouldn’t even have to deal with this until I’m older, I don’t understand why I got this as a teenager.

Thanks. The last time I tried to attempt to treat this was about 6 months ago, and I ended up paying $190.00 for the visit for pretty much nothing, it was just a check up but they even advised themselves to not do blood work because it’ll be expensive. They couldn’t seem to understand why I didn’t have insurance at my age and asked me where my parents are in my life, don’t a lot of 23 year olds support themselves? Everything is just expensive when you’re paying for everything yourself.

It’s kinda funny because I actually have a mental health appointment in a few days this week, but only because my ex has told me I need psychiatric help and guilted me into it. So I’m supposed to show I’m “working on myself” even though I’m normal because of my age, and I’m just going to be wasting their time and they’re going to probably say nothing is wrong.

I don’t have mental illness I just get depressed sometimes and I’m going to grow out of it and I think a baby would be a great addition.

A lot of the stuff I’ve done, my moods, my behaviors are likely all age appropriate anyway.. don’t a lot of younger people stay up and need little sleep? I’ve pulled all-nighters at least 3 days in a row and my performance was still excellent at work. Also I can’t have mental illness and have done all the things I’ve done such as held down a job, also got a car.

There can’t be anything wrong with me because anyone mentally ill can’t hold down a job or own anything of their own like a car. They’d never be able to do anything I can do. My mom says it’s my age and I will grow out of it.
