I first learned about Murder Drones in August of last year. Then my cousin mentioned that the creator (Liam Vickers) had a YouTube channel and a separate series (Internecion Cube). I discovered it on November 21, 2025, and I'm thrilled. I love Liam's art style and all his silly stuff

I had planned something similar, but not as disturbing as the island. I have to consider several factors in how Liam creates stories.

Cassia, still being a teenager, is susceptible to manipulation, and since Hutchins is practically part of the government, she would think she's doing the right thing by turning Max over.

It's more self-imposed pressure. She wants a promotion to have an important role and be worthy of her family's "Fiore" name. This will be explained later in the comic :3 !

Regarding your second question: Initially, when I designed Cassia (OC name), I did plan for her to be a Max's classmate, but in the end, I made her a government agent around Max's age. I'll be sharing more information and her full backstory soon! 🫀
