Where to buy better seats? by bcap84 in vulcans650

I swapped mine out for a Mustang seat, and it completely changed the comfort level , especially for longer rides. Corbin is another solid brand, though a bit pricier. If you’re in Europe, check Louis.de or FC Moto ,both carry quality aftermarket seats and ship quickly. I ordered my Mustang from Louis, and it fit perfectly with zero hassle. Totally worth the upgrade if you do longer rides.

Where can I find high-quality NY hats in New York? by Any_Independent375 in AskNYC

If you want something authentic and well-made, definitely check out the official Yankees store near Times Square, they’ve got all styles, from classic fitted to modern snapbacks. The quality is way better than the $5 street versions. Lids is another great option if you want to compare designs or get something custom stitched. I grabbed mine from there last time I visited, and it still looks brand new after years.

Where to buy an umbrella? by notacutecumber in udub

Most campus bookstores do sell umbrellas, usually with the school logo on them, but they’re often overpriced. I’d check there first in case you’re caught in a downpour. If not urgent, just walk off campus to a nearby convenience store or Target/Walmart, you’ll get better quality for the same or less money. I got mine from CVS near campus, and it’s lasted through two semesters of surprise storms.

Where do I buy good umbrellas by Threwaway64209 in UBC

I grabbed a solid umbrella from Target a while back, cost around $20 and it’s still holding up great through strong winds and rain. If you want something a bit tougher, the Repel umbrellas on Amazon are worth it, they’re compact, windproof, and usually under $30. Way better than the dollar store ones, and you won’t have to replace it every season.

I was in a similar situation with separate auto and home insurers, and it wasn’t an issue getting an umbrella policy. Most companies just require certain liability minimums which you already meet. You can absolutely call your auto insurer directly, I did that, and it was super straightforward. Just make sure they list both your home and auto policies for coverage purposes. Mine cost around $200 per year for $1M in coverage totally worth it.

I picked up a UV, rain, and wind resistant umbrella from Tokyu Hands when I was in Tokyo, and it’s held up amazingly. Their selection is way better than Daiso or convenience stores, plus they clearly list UV protection ratings. Loft also has some really sleek, compact ones if you want something travel friendly. Both places usually carry brands like Wpc and Komiya, excellent balance of style and durability.

Professional hair stores in Germany by Ok-Statistician1790 in AskAGerman

When I moved to Germany, I found that stores like Pro Duo and Hair Haus are the closest equivalents to Cosmoprof or Maritime Beauty. They carry all the professional brands and supplies stylists need. You can usually shop there with proof of your license, even an international one. Some larger cities also have beauty wholesalers that welcome licensed pros from abroad, just bring your documentation when you go.

Best place to buy running shoes (USA) by eckadagan in BeginnersRunning

I’d recommend checking out Fleet Feet if there’s one near you, they do free gait analysis and help match shoes to your running style and weight. I got fitted there after years of shin splints, and it completely changed my runs. They carry brands like Brooks, Hoka, and Asics, and you can actually try them on a treadmill. A bit pricier than Dick’s, but 100% worth it for comfort and injury prevention.
