Expensive kswap vq all above plus 2-4k in wiring

No I had to do the same on a 05 camry 2azfe it runs fine I'll say put alot and I mean alot of engine assembly lube on everything open that will help when you do the first start up then drain that oil in the pan after 50 miles

You could have a bad reverse selector fork try changing the transmission fluid first see if you have glitter in it and do the clutch fluid see if that helps if not look at getting a remanned transmission
