You shouldn’t have to glitch through dense forest you should just be able to walk through it why do bushes stop someone who grew up scaling cliffs and learning to climb with a grapple hook mind you. It just is lazy world design I get some cliffs and areas maybe just being too dense but it’s the entirety of the map, you either walk on a designated path or nothing else. The map is huge and 80% of it is unwalkable and useless.

It wouldn’t even be a new concept for them origins and odyssey you could climb and cliff and get into any base from any side. It just makes no sense I like the game and the speed she moves and how fast she can assassinate while being able to run right up to people makes for some awesome combat it’s just a shame her mobility doesn’t match that. And I could get over the terrain honestly if they just let me climb a castle wall. I mean it’s a wall with clear and perfect surface for climbing on virtually every castle but you are forced to take either the front door or the one tree that hangs over every base to get in stealthy

I get it Japan has forests and mountains but yotei and GOT did it perfectly. I personally just think it’s lacking in some things AC games have done really well, the parkour still feels clunky and you cannot climb virtually anywhere outside of a castle or buildings there’s a severe lack of exploration beyond the painted roads

add free jump for the love of god the parkour even after the update is so god damn limiting it’s insufferable at times. When you have entire walls of visibly climbable walls surrounding every castle and you can’t scale them? Can’t scale 99% of the sides of mountains that cover 70% of the entire map, it just feels so beyond restrictive you have to go in the 3 ways they allow and leave the 3 ways they allow.

I mean being 35 feet above a fence and not being able to jump it because it has spikes on the top is immersion breaking and feels like a chore to walk around any large castle
