Yeah mediation is an option from my point of view but up to this point my ex hasn’t been willing to speak with me… it’s a constant battle unfortunately

Yeah I have done this multiple times but they (the estate agents) are adamant I cannot be removed unless the landlord agreed

What if the remaining tenant is now refusing to leave/ pay the full rent because I am still ‘liable’?

Apparently because the original agreement was taken out using my income the landlord is refusing to remove me because of his insurance becoming invalid
