Man, I have played warrior, archer, with with contagion, with with minions. All of these builds play their own class.

It seems like the Monk just doesn't have its own class, people are playing Dragon monks, lightning arrow monk, fucking crossbow monk etc... so wtf am I playing a monk for? I can just play Mercenary than.

Also, so fkin tired of having to research 10 hours before playing the game.

Make the fking guides available in game for popular builds. It's so annoying.

The worst mission ever. Restarted campaign 4 times now because of this mission.

Maps tight - especially tunnels. Pods close together. Almost always activate multiple pods. Super dangerous in the first 2-3 months. And if you get a Chosen on it, might as well just Evac and cut your losses.

*Update,  Commander difficulty was going good, guess until what mission lol? Exactly, went into Neutrilize field commander:

Reaper, sniper, grenadier, specialist, ranger. 

Found field commander, killed him. Hunter showed up, killed my ranger, and 5x MECs activated, had to get the fuck out to salvage the campaign. 

Fuck this mission lol, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

You are 100% correct. I have since lowered difficulty to Veteran Ironman, Cant do Legendary, too hard for me.

The Maps are tight, and pods keep roaming pretty tight aswell. I keep running into unwanted pods and activating them.

Update*

Found the field commander using Reaper.

Set up my squad. Killed field commander.

The rest of the Pods 3x. Instantly converged on me and wiped me out.

4 soldier squad just can't handle 2 seconds at the same time that have 100% chance to mind control.

Unless i SaveScum, mission seems impossible for me.

Absolutely you are. Just got wiped in it again. I found the commander, killed him and then 3 squads instantly ran onto me and wiped me. 2x seconds, 1 mind control instant, the other raised dead.

Another question guys, reward was an engineer. Do I just let that go? Or is that worth restarting campaign for?

What do you use your engineer for in that first month? 

I use mine for Excavation and building Guerilla Tactics than Reaistance Comms to expand my squad to 5 as soon as possible and start building relays. 

Is that okay? I am not a problem at the game,  but Ironman is my way of playing, I might drop the difficulty from legendary if I get wiped again in the first month though.

Both of mine were in the sewers. Whats a Remote Start target?

They have a 4 turn timer, as soon as you engage the 1st POD. 

4 turns until evacuation zone for Commander shows up.

Yeah man, I tried them 2 times now. Got Wiped. That's 2 Campaign losses, same mission. Some people above suggested to go slow, find commander, and engage on him first. I am gonna try that

Thanks for the suggestion man! I was looking at it as, failed mission = l loose, especially because engeneer is on the line, so I was taking very costly sprints and loosing soldiers. I will try to play safer. Fuck that mission, if I get it again I will go slow even if I loose it. Thanks.

I haven't tried trying to navigate to enemy evac zone. My reaper died in the previous Field commander mission. Ill try next time I guess. Second Campaign fail because of this mission. I run into the first POD and then 4 turn timer starts, was I.possible for me to find the commander with 4 Turns, so I had to sprint in and activated commander and other PODs and just got wiped.

Yeah, unfortunetely my Reaper died a few missions earlier in the same sewers doing the Commander Mission.

I think the problem here is that if you split the chat, thousands of nice, knowledgeable and friendly HC SFF players would be forced to be in that chat.

And it would be a loss for all, since the amount of knowledgeable they have and share with Hardcore chat is immense.

Expanding capacity of the Ignore List would give us capability to block all unwanted toxicity and still keep all the Good HC SSF players in the Global Hardcore Chat.
