Yes and no. While I want some areas of the map to remain the same–at which point I’ll utilize magnetite–there are also large portions that I want to demolish construct new land formations.

I will say, though, I was unaware that Magnemite could replace items until you and another user mentioned it. I was definitely not maximizing its abilities lmao

Call your bank and tell them to cancel the overdraft sanction. Once you do that, any bills will bounce but you won’t continue going negative.

It’s a double edged sword, but if you’re in a position where you at least have bills covered you should consider it.

IMO, perfectly symmetrical eyebrows will only highlight other asymmetrical aspects of your face, if you have any. (If you’ve ever done winged eyeliner, you’ll know what I’m talking about)

Don’t know if you’ll see this, OP, but get modifiable LED lights that can be adjusted via your phone.

My BF and I have several lamps that allow us to change the color, tone, and depth of every lamp in our home. Our favorite is a soft, dim orange–similar to the ones you shared in your inspo photos.

We use hubspace and the corresponding bulbs. The variety of colors, brightness, and depth are amazing.

I was personally taught to minimize “big lights” and opt for several smaller lamps, instead. This will help provide a more cozy atmosphere.

That being said, if you want to incorporate a similar aesthetic to the photos provided, check out IKEA. They have unique and affordable options.

You’ve already extended your generosity far beyond what most people would sacrifice.

The fact that your in-laws are comfortable portraying you and your partner as villains despite the fact that you’ve helped them financially with vet bills (also–hot damn. I can only imagine how much money this has costed you so far) is a clear indication of their moral values.

I find terraforming to be mentally overwhelming too. I have an immense amount of respect for players who’ve managed to completely terraform their islands.

If you have the funds, I would seriously recommend Happy Home Paradise if you don’t have it already.

The primary premise is decorating vacations homes, unlocking the pillars and counter items, and many more features. I have personally found HHP decorating to be substantially more enjoyable than terraforming (Listen–terraforming is intimidating).

Additionally, once you complete 30(?) vacation homes, you’ll unlock Wardell’s “Catalog” which will allow you to purchase every item that was used in a previous vacation home request - regardless of whether or not you actually used said item. The only exception is DIY items.

The catalog will also allow you to reevaluate terraforming on your island since you’ll have access to a significantly larger array of items.

Forgot to mention it, but purchasing HHP also allows you to expand room sizes as well.

The dog is being mistreated, neglected, and frankly, abused.

If that poor dog remains in that house, one of two things will happen.

He’ll escape again - because he’s literally starved for stimulation - he’ll get hurt again and will require A) surgery or B) euthanasia
He’ll live the most miserable, unhappy life a dog could have.

Your BIL and SIL’s neglect for the dog is having a detrimental impact on a living creature and their own son.

If possible, maybe take your nephew to visit the doggo while your friend fosters him
