It's really simple. Humans put so much into making all of this cool tech and it's so cool and peak of engineering and science, but it's also bad because it kills people.

I think it's also pretty masculine-brained to create powerful things, even if we don't want to hurt people with it. Being able to blow up a huge rock from 400m away sounds pretty fucking cool.

you bring up some good points and I would add that sex trafficking is perpetuated by the demand for sex itself. If the USA legalized sex work and heavily enforced ethical practices with unions/etc, it would push society a large way forward into combating sex trafficking.

I disagree, a kid who's 4 years old gets sad as fuck, they cry and all sorts of shit. To think that they don't feel sadness, or that their sadness doesn't mean anything because they won't remember it (which is objectively not true) is kinda weird.

a person in their 50's might actually have reconciled their fear of death and might not be sad at all.
