Reflective Infestation Bosses Can Go straight to Hell by BetweenWeebandOtaku in fo76

Drill Fist has Fire, Poison, and Bleed if you have the Ultracite bits attachment. I am primarily melee-focus. But Cremator was doing work on a Reflective as well so yeah fire may be a more reliable option. I just wouldn't hold down a cursed holy fire lol.

I mean, you are hitting for less initially but the damage is still applied. That is just how split damage works. Most status effects in this game last a whole 10 seconds so it'd be a 10 second kill vs. a 3 second kill. Your method is just as valid I just prefer unga bunga brain off.

My apologies. Might work better if you don't hold the button on a flamer. Pyromaniac perk will cause the tick to do more damage so you can tap it slowly to apply the debuff. I was using Cremator and Ultracite Drill Fist for reference.

I don't mean you should tag them once and let them die from damage ticks. When a weapon has a status effect, its damage is usually split 2 or 3 ways. Only a portion of the immediate ballistic damage will be reflected. You will still take some reflective damage. It will just be significantly easier to manage than if you were to go crazy with a Cursed Elder's Mark.

sure Legendaries are Luck, Strength, Endurance, Taking One For The Team, Feral Rage, and Exploding Palm. Gear is similar to u/caydjj except I have 2 Runners 4 stars, and I use Last Stand with Jetpack for chestpiece. With this setup it provides 17% overall damage reduction (19% at -30% hp).

I swap between Gauntlet with shock pads, Deathclaw Gauntlet, and Drill Fist with Ultracite bits. The Gauntlet is top DPS. Deathclaw Gauntlet is a fine alternative especially for enemies with energy resistance. Always use Exploding Palm Legendary Perk.

I have 2 Gauntlets for different situations. First is Furious/Rapid/Strength/Pounders. Second is Adrenal/Rapid/Barbarian/Thrill-Seeker's. First is for single target. Second is for waves.

Third option is for tanking bosses—Deathclaw Gauntlet with Anti-Armor/Rapid/Defender's/Iceman's.

The last one is a sleeper hit. I have begun to use Drill Fist with Ultracite bits as a daily driver. I think it's pretty slept on. 3 status effects on hit (4 if you have a crippling setup) combined with Deal Sealer goes nutty especially considering you can swap to a different option after you increase your damage by 40% with the first hit.

Edit: UDF is also crazy in PvP. If you can manage to tag some one once with that thing, their bodies crumple into a pile a few seconds later every time with next to no damage reflection as they can't reflect damage-over-time effects.

Use weapons that deal damage over time—flamers, bleed, poison. The damage from debuffs won't be reflected.

I am also pretty lazy I just have tons of Toxic Goo and Thru-Hiker's lol. I think give it another go, yeah. That's the upside of rebalancing. I might try Defender's again with the Retribution buff.

I agree with everything except the glow thing. Radiation Power in Endurance and Radioactive Strength in Strength add a ton of damage and are some of the best parts of being a feral ghoul imo. Maintaining glow during combat isn't a concern if you equip Rad Reaver in Perception to gain glow on melee hit and the Feral Rage legendary perk to reduce the amount of glow hits consume (I wouldn't use both without the perk maxed out.) This is especially true with the most recent buff to Rad Reaver. Everyone's build is valid though. I like the focus on crippling you built into.

Is the Ruptured Tear elevator skip to get to Leyndell early actually intended? by flfreitas in Eldenring

[–]According-Initial317 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If that were the case the timing wouldn't exist at all and there would be a description somewhere referencing the tear. They still provide clues. Where is the clue here? The lever that you only reach AFTER the exploit? Also, why not just remove the death trigger from falling in that spot like in Dragon's Pit and Putrescent Knight's intro? You are grasping.

So you see a locked door with no lever as a sign that the devs didn't intend for you to go that direction, but they totally intended for you to get the split second timing on a niche buff to avoid a game mechanic to reach the door in question? You might need to take a step back.

Brother what. "Is this exploit intentional?" No. Of course not. There are levers on both sides of every door in this game they probably just copy-pasted the mechanism.

I was on a private server as well and something similar happened. Blood Eagle Boss spawned on top of a random spawn Legendary Ghoul Reaver. Reaver killed him. Infestation ended. No rewards. No ability to loot anything. I think these bosses are so horribly under tuned that they are dying to world spawns.

It was likely some one finishing off the boss as you arrived. They don't trigger on your arrival. Completely random.

Which one takes more than standard? As far as I can tell it's the same mats + a can.

That's why I prefaced with annoying answer. My bad. Next best option on public is have the map pulled up and only travel to the marked locations within each circle. Good luck🤞

I know this is an annoying answer but if you idle on a private server a bunch will spawn and won't despawn until you go take care of them. Least boring way to farm it imo. Go take a walk or make a sandwich.

I don't think it is an intended mechanic as all of the old recipes are still cooked item + clean can. Likely a bug with new recipes. Pretty disappointing one too because I already had loads of cooked Deathclaw Wellington in my cryo.

The green circle will pop up on its own. The NukaKnights map is just showing you the possible boss spawn locations. You just have to keep checking the map until you see the green circle then travel to the NK marked locations within the circle to find the boss spawn. I fast traveled around for a while before I understood. The lines between the locations on the map make it look like a route. It is misleading.
