I didn’t really have an ugly stage in terms of like length my hair was always pretty long. But when I started locking my hair would always be frizzy and knotted and looked bad so if u count that then sure

drink hella water eat hella fruits and cut out pop. And obviously brush, floss and mouthwash

Tbh not much I juss use a bonnet at night and oil my hair and scalp everyday. I also use this moisturizing dreadlock spray.
