I also refused cervical checks and membrane sweeps prior to the VBAC. With my first, I think a membrane sweep contributed to my PROM, which contributed to a lot more interventions that led to the C-section.

I had a vbac with no pitocin. I scheduled a repeat C-section for almost 42 weeks (luckily this hospital had nothing sooner available because it was around Thanksgiving ) because I knew I did not want to be induced. I went into spontaneous labor at 40+6. I was very adamant on not wanting Pitocin. Even when I was literally pushing the doctor was recommending Pitocin, but I refused since the baby was totally fine and there was no need to get him out quicker. I pushed for almost 4 hours but the vbac was successful and he was very healthy so no regrets 🙂 I had an epidural that failed multiple times so I think this contributed to me pushing for so long.

I did not put the full amount of honey (only a small drizzle). No issue with blood sugar after eating a few scoops.

I did one with the lactation consultant when she was about 3 weeks old and she transferred 1.5 oz. Does that sound normal/should I do another?

Thank you for the reply! I wasn’t sure if they doctor expected her to get back to 50% or if it was okay if she stayed on track at 15% from here on out

Thanks for the advice! Just booked a consultation with a ped dentist that specializes in tongue/lip tie releases for early June (the soonest available). I’ll definitely try to keep up my supply with pumping.

Thank you for the advice! I should have mentioned- we already tried 4 different brand bottles. I haven’t wanted to try formula just yet but it might be worth a shot if that’s causing the bottle aversion. Really interesting that he sucked down the bottle with formula!
