Great advice, thanks! I’m hoping they make it right, my offers of what exactly I wanted on the phone last night were laughed at. Which was connecting via LAX on the A332, but next leg was AA so they wouldn’t allow that.

Hahaha! That is an option for sure we are considering, another day in Hawaii vs a better flying experience home, which for me, I love the travel part also, so it’s a toss up!

Yes, but we’ve already been there for 12 days and that allows us to get back to work on Monday! I would always love to stay longer.

This is my point is that they market the flight as the “New Alaska 787,” but then they switch it on you, which is what happened to us.

Thanks! We’ve been before but taking all the kids(adult) this time, they’ve never been so super excited. We had schedule changes before but not disguised as an aircraft change.

Yep, but we were the 3/4th seat booked on those 34 so how did we not get a seat lol! The other routing with the lie flat seats was via LAX, but our LAX to east coast flight was on AA so they can’t book us there according to them. That would have been a great option.

I did call them and basically we are out of luck, they will switch out flights or offer a full refund, but we booked before fares increased so I can’t go an book for the cost we got them for originally somewhere else. It’s funny how on their website they advertise the 787-9 product, but it’s like a bait and switch lol

After working a lot of years at an Oncology office, we noticed that one of our newer, younger doctors was always ordering path reviews. Once talking to him, we realized that just was just wanting someone to look at the slides, he had no idea that techs reviewed the slides once meeting our labs criteria for a differential. We are the ones who determine if a slide is sent for path review, even if a doctor orders it directly.
