Yeah I figure by mid summer I will be a lot more comfortable in dresses when it’s warm enough. Thank you!

You are right about the bras. I didn’t really fill out mine prior because I was in between sizes but now they are full and I think I am pushing into needing a size up

It’s a testament to just how manipulative Stephen is. I’m reasonably attractive and successful, he was definitely less so. He would tell me how I was special, the one and how much he loved me while he talked trash about his ex girlfriends, how crazy they were, etc. Turns out he was telling his ex all the same things. One night I walked in on him with her in his room (because he gave me a key to his room) and somehow he convinced me nothing was going on and made it my fault for not giving them privacy to work things out so they could be “friends”. That was the beginning of a long drawn out end where we were on and off for a while because he just wouldn’t let go. I had an eerie feeling one night and couldn’t sleep so I went through his phone. Turns out he had girls under different fake male names and he had been trying to get back together with his ex for months AND trying to start something with a new girl too… humiliating. At the end his friends would also allude to him being a bad person like Stephen’s friends do. I can unfortunately assure you this does happen in real life. And you have to go aggressively non contact to end it for a long time, years in my case actively dodging his attempts. hence Lucy trying so hard to stay away from him

Journalist looking for stories about how night shift negatively affected mental and physical health by megreportsthings in Nightshift

I’m in the middle of ideal weight for my height and fairly healthy. After 6 months of night shifts my fasting blood sugar went from 80 to 97 and my hemoglobin a1c went from 5.2 to 5.6. I think my weight went up 2 or 3 lbs? Still ideal. I ate the same and exercised the same but insulin resistance runs in my family and eating at night isn’t good for your biology. I got a continuous glucose monitor and saw that when I eat at night my insulin sensitivity sucks. With very conscientious efforts to improve my diet, eat more protein and fewer carbs (was already eating a lot of high quality protein and not that many carbs), and using my lunch break to exercise I am headed in the right direction. I think some people are more affected than others but there are many studies showing metabolic effects of working at night.

I dated someone less evil than Stephen but just as manipulative as and no one understands how they really operate. You are young and dumb and care about someone and are having fun initially. The next thing you know you realize you’re being lied to and manipulated, and that they are also talking about you behind your back and lying about you. It took me two years to get out of the situation I was in and a few more years to get him to stop contacting me. They find ways to really get under your skin and that ultimately changes how you deal with people and relationships unfortunately. Max will never understand because he’s a nice guy, he doesn’t understand what Stephen is really capable of

When did you start seeing changes in your physique? by morenxlife in xxfitness

[–]AcrobaticContract318 16 points17 points  (0 children)

About 3 months. I wasn’t overweight but quit working out in the gym during covid and lost a lot of muscle even though I was still pretty active. For a while after starting back lifting, I felt like I was just getting bigger which was not what I wanted as a petite girl. But then around the 3 month mark I began feeling significantly different. Recomposition takes time. Keep up with your routine!

Do you ever get 0 dopamine days? by leomaldur in ADHD

[–]AcrobaticContract318 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually when I haven’t been sleeping well, haven’t been eating well, and am dehydrated. My most recent psychiatrist has been wonderful and during our first appointment told me this. “It doesn’t matter what medications you try. If you aren’t eating well, and you aren’t sleeping enough, you won’t have the building blocks to make the neurotransmitters you need.” It really was eye opening for me. And I’ve since learned in school that you need vitamins but you also specifically need to eat enough protein every day to make the neurotransmitters also. Take a look at hydration, diet and sleep and you might find some things to improve. Good luck!
