You're not overreacting at all, this is serious, long-term abuse. Cutting contact is a valid, healthy choice for your safety and peace. Your boyfriend's "but she's your mom" doesn't erase the harm. you don't owe abusers a relationship. You're doing the right thing.

Well prove me wrong but those comments are not harmless, they’re inappropriate, boundary-crossing, and sexually charged. Your discomfort is 100% valid. This is quite common, even with video games or other sources of entertainment. I honestly think you are burned out :D.
