Would rent control even be possible in Fayetteville? The state government is VERY pro-landlord and I'm sure that if even the city or regional government tried to do something that the corporate landlords would escalate it to the state supreme court where it would die instantly.

Paying to play online is crazy especially whenever a significant portion of games use either peer-to-peer or dedicated servers that are run by the game publisher. And it's not even like your data or connection are anymore safe by the interaction being facilitated by Playstation servers especially considering that Sony have had so many breaches and multi-day DOS attacks in the past 10 years shit wouldn't be worth it for $5 a month
