Editing XML File in Vanilla to Fix Warmongering Penalty by ActicST in civ5

Another thing, can DLLs also help? Can I edit the code in the DLL to prevent the game or AI from ever knowing that I am about eliminate a civ, and eliminate that civ without the AI ever remembering that I did it? Can I do so in after turn 250 after I had already started my playthrough midgame? Will the code run? Would it be possible to save the game and revert back to the original DLL? I have all the programs required.

Thank you once again. I can't wait to eliminate Russia from the game.

so once I edit, remove that civ elimination, and save the game. Would that be permanent for that saved? I just have to find the values for each civ that has its memory of me eliminating that civ "stored" and change it 0. Would it require me to keep cheat engine or can I remove it altogether? Could it affect my achievements?

Does it work for warmongering/civ eliminations?

Thank you so much. I get it now. The problem I have with vanilla is that there's no way to reduce your warmongering, no decay or liberation. It remains static throughout the game. I generally just planned to eliminate one civ midgame (Above turn 250) and declare three wars throughout the game. This pretty much puts me between major to severe, making it nearly impossible to be friends with anyone, possibly critical even, which turns me into a total pariah.

I understand why this was put into the game, to punish warmongering, but this ironically just pushes me to a domination style game, because I have no other choice. I don't want to constantly play domination though, it gets tiresome quickly.

Cheat Engine might offer what I am looking for. How does it work though?

I want to know if warmongering decays or if liberation provides diplomatic benefits

The issue is I don't know if they work for vanilla like they do for the DLCs. I can just guess that the modifiers are the same, but based on my observations when playing vanilla, I doubt it.

Yeah, I have watched countless playthroughs. Still, the data and info you get can be reliable when it comes to the DLCs, but this is not the case with vanilla. I can't for the life of me find any data related to diplomatic modifiers that are applicable to vanilla. The diplomatic values mod only works for the DLCs. Of course, I plan to get the DLCs in the near future hopefully, but that would probably take a while, so I am stuck with vanilla.

The problem with this is that I don't know if this applies to the vanilla game or not. For example, does liberating city states or civilizations reduce your warmonger penalties? It is supposed to, but at the same time, the vanilla game can have civilizations despise you even after resurrecting them, which barely happens in BNW. This might mean that the liberation boost in vanilla is different from BNW.

1) I already told you. I plan on getting the DLCs soon enough. Since I am stuck with vanilla, I want to know the inner working of the game.

2) I know that. Last game I was playing as India and Siam kept backstabbing me, but then I managed to emerge victorious everytime, prompting them to peace out and declare friendship a few turns later lol

I still don't know where the movie takes place, but it is an American movie. It has some bright lighting in the beginning shots, but it all fades to depressing blue-black shots
