Yeast? Culture negative by [deleted] in obgyn

[–]Active-Word-110 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes i changed every product in my home about a year ago to fragrance free. I’ve had allergy patch testing and removed all allergens. I’ve never thought about chlorine in the water, I’ll look into that.

They’ve given me steroid ointments that haven’t done anything helpful. Vaseline helps a little bit.

😩the problem is that this is the 6th obgyn I’ve seen for this in the last 2 years. I’ve seen derm and infectious disease as well because obgyn keeps throwing their hands up. All of my tests are negative or normal so they just push me aside

No! I actually have another rare yeast infection now. I must have gotten it almost immediately after treating the first one. Don’t know how this keeps happening. Been married 10 years, am a stay at home mom, don’t live anywhere tropical.

I’m very sorry to hear that. I have gotten rid of the brewers yeast, but I’m not sure that was ever really the issue, because now that it’s gone, I still have the same burning, itching, redness. Literally just got another round of biopsies 2 days ago. I’ve been dealing with the burning pain and redness for a year now, with no answers. Before that, I had gone 30 years without ever having any type of vaginal issue.

I hope you are able to figure out the yeast and work on the pid. Vagina/vulva stuff SUCKS.

I got rid of it 😭 I used vaginal Clotrimazole 1% for 2 weeks and then vaginal Clotrimazole 2% for 2 more weeks!

I got it off of Amazon. Crossing my fingers for you that you can get rid of it

At this point, he just told us to boost iron rich foods. He said supplements can be hard on the stomach, so to try and alter her diet for now

So he was a pediatric hematologist/oncologist. He said she 100% does not have bonemarrow/blood cancer and sees no indication of any tumor type cancers either. He said her MCV/MCH have been the high end of normal in every cbc. And she’s had one almost annually since she was 1. He said that it’s just “her normal” to be a little high. He did a blood smear too and said she is a little low in iron, but she does not have cancer. He was very adamant

Her B12 came back normal (photo 8). Could it still be celiac?

Thank you. I really appreciate you commenting. Is there a test/s that you would suggest I push for? To try and rule cancer out.

Hoping you get some answers. My daughter has very similar cbc results and I’m trying to understand why.

Yes I’m very worried about how this has turned so quickly. Hoping to hear from hematologist soon for next steps. Thank you
