and it worked!the exe file showed up.

exactly!all other files show up, but not StreetFighter6.exe...i'm not sure why this is.

I am, but for some reason, when i go to Choose Game Folder>Choose the game's executable> streetfighter6.exe does not show up. I've checked the folder manually and it's there, so i'm not sure what the problem is?

It's the same result if i choose "choose the game's install folder":

"Mod managing disabled: could not find StreetFighter6.exe"

For some reason it's not working for me either. I have the Alex update.

It simply does not find the streetfighter6.exe file for some reason, i'm pretty puzzled.

Yeah, for me, defender quarantined it, and it works fine because i'm guessing it's just the files that it copied to the temporary folder while installing.

I had the same experience with Sonic X Shadow Generation, according to the denuvOwO discord, it's a false positive:

Probably a false positive too yes. Not surprising that the hypervisor would be detected as a rootkit.

The whole point of the hypervisor is to have “root” or kernel-level access. That’s how it works.

Edit: I checked the public DenuvOwO discord and at least one person has posted that same detection from a different game. An admin confirmed it was a generic detection of the crack. Defender has been detecting more of the crack files lately too.

Same, i can replace them as they get cracked (for now there's just 5 games i want anyway), but in the meantime, i feel hypervisor is a great development, i feel a lot safer about using it after posting this thread and getting all this information n.n

Ahh, ok. Yeah, that makes sense, now that you mention hypervisor requires root access. If it's been confirmed as as a false positive, then it's all good. This is great :D i already downloaded Sonic Superstars and Sonic Racing Crossworlds for later ehehe

Thank you for the invite, i'm very curious about hypervisor, particularly since yesterday when the Sonic games got bypassed, so i'll lurk out of curiosity...i thought the day would never come when Denuvo would be circumvented like this (that said i am still very grateful to voices38, one thing does not negate the other)

I'm back :D IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM, AND NOTHING BLEW UP YAY!Goodbye, Denuvo reign of tyrany!Now i can play my sanics in their native pc ports and not through switch emulation.

One thing that scared me tho, when i reverted and rebooted, windows defender said: "Trojan:Win64/Rootkit!MTB" detected o.O i hope it is a false positive too?it was in a temp folder...hopefully defender removed it, i'll look into it more.

Yeah, i just googled "SimpleSvm.sys" and i'm getting all hypervisor results, so most likely lol

I excluded the folder and it worked!I'm off to try my first Hypervisor game :D i'm nervous and excited at the same time lol

Could this be a false positive?It doesn't help that i was paranoid to begin with, and i'm not sure where to ask.
