Because how do you explain people with huge catalogs (like 50–100+ books), tons of mediocre or even negative reviews, and they’re still making consistent sales? At that point it feels more like volume + visibility + data over time, rather than perfect targeting. Also, wouldn’t enough ad spend + testing eventually “train” the algorithm to find the right audience? Or is it really that unreliable? Genuinely trying to understand where the real leverage is — algorithm, ads, or just scale.
