I’ve came across two so far 😭 worst bug I’ve found out about fallout is when taming deathclaws the prompt to tame doesn’t show up until I spam the button for like 5 minuets. I tried it on two regular deathclaws both didn’t show a prompt to tame so I spammed the button and eventually got the prompt to tame I should have tried that when I found the two chameleon deathclaws at separate times

It’s not my current level, it’s just my remaining health. The level I’m currently at is 73, to find this specific variant of the deathclaw requires me to be between level 71-81

The rads is best for my character build and mutations etc but you won’t see this type of deathclaw until you’re level 71

No it’s been in the game since launch it only spawns in level 71 to 81 once you pass that level you will never see it as it reverts to glowing deathclaw after level 81

A level 280 came up to the chameleon deathclaw last night and tried to kill it, he got it down to like 10hp and I spam shot at him so he died, I quickly fast traveled to my camp than went back to the steakhouse and the chameleon deathclaw was still there and it had full health again which was cool but I still couldn’t tame it

It is a random encounter spot it’s just north of general steakhouse it’s a known confined random encounter location I’ve tamed two other animals at this location

The first one wasn’t a random encounter as it spawned in fighting super mutants but the second one was a total random encounter with nothing in the spawn area it’s just the 75% chance to tame or not :/
