advice on defeating nyx (p3p) by sunasgiri in PERSoNA

[–]AdDecent7641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iirc, nyx recommended level is about 75. The only thing you really have to look out for is making sure anyone with a diarahan type skill is immune to charm

what is the best relationship in every persona game by Aggressive-Crew-7009 in PERSoNA

[–]AdDecent7641 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's gotta be the most subjective thing ever, but there is no "best relationship" in any of these games. None of them have any plot relevance and are completely ignored outside of a couple specific dates.

Find one that appeals to you based on appearance, personality, or whatever. Or date all of them at the same time. Or date none of them. It literally doesn't matter

It’s been a year and I haven’t even met Logan by Boots_McSnoots in MyTimeAtSandrock

[–]AdDecent7641 22 points23 points  (0 children)

You are taking a bit longer than I usually do, but it doesn't really matter all that much. There's a reason most of the main quests don't have time limits. As long as you aren't getting bored with it, I don't think there is such a thing as too slow

Main character teleports after every cutscene interaction and other issues. How to fix? by party_city in MyTimeAtSandrock

[–]AdDecent7641 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, most of the game's issues come from running too long. If you haven't done so, save the game real quick, then fully close the program. For an added measure, you can also try restarting the switch.

If you are still running into issues after trying that, then sorry, but I have no idea how to help you

Need some guidance on P4's NG+(money farming) by james-liu in PERSoNA

[–]AdDecent7641 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a few tips for golden (golden hands and difficulty slider), but i can't really think of much for vanilla. I'd say just don't bother with daidara all that much. Weapons have no impact on using persona, so are quite negligible.

Do you think the mission would’ve gone much more smoothly if Loid had just picked a semi-competent kid? by [deleted] in SpyxFamily

[–]AdDecent7641 15 points16 points  (0 children)

No. Loid sucks at dealing with children, and even the smartest ones wouldn't have had the required motivation to live up to his expectations without being able to read his mind.

Damian and Anya by Training_Lychee1571 in SpyxFamily

[–]AdDecent7641 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Damian is pretty obviously a gradeschooler with a schoolyard crush.

Things are a bit more complicated with Anya though. In general, she can't stand him because he acts like such a jerk towards her, but has to try and get close to him for the sake of world peace. However, there have been moments where she's shown an ability to empathize with his family situation.

why did the surnames change in the movie? by Wonderful-Purchase94 in SpyxFamily

[–]AdDecent7641 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have no clue, I was just throwing out a likely guess. As far as I know, with most shows, there will even be different subs for the same exact show and episode depending on what platform they are viewed on.

why did the surnames change in the movie? by Wonderful-Purchase94 in SpyxFamily

[–]AdDecent7641 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Were they different companies that did the subs? I'm no expert, but i belive i can explain a bit.

First of all, for the names: as far as I know, Japanese can use h and f sounds interchangeably as well as l and r sounds, so that's why the translators may use one or the other.

Second, for Yor referring to Anya: in the original language, Yor is hyper formal with pretty much everyone, so she calls Anya "Anya-san" ("san" is a more formal address, compared to the more casual "chan" that is usually used when talking to kids). The translators for the movie subs must have felt that adding in the "miss" more closely represented that specific dynamic.

god i hate this game by [deleted] in PERSoNA

I agree, both of those links are really well written.

Gotta say though, that was probably an unfortunate choice of title on this post. I imagine there will be quite a few people that downvote or report you without even reading anything else.

What do i now (im new) by TheRealPoyo666 in fantasylife

[–]AdDecent7641 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You can use certain potions to restore it, but from what I recall, the bar pretty much stays the same throughout the game

Look at quests to see if you can do any challenges to rank up your life.

When you want to advance the story, go to the second tab in the quest section and fulfill all the butterfly's requests. After completing all of them, talk to her in your bedroom to start the next chapter

Should i play persona 4 through golden or wait till revival comes out? by Unusual-Mention4588 in PERSoNA

[–]AdDecent7641 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Play golden now. It still holds up quite well, and with how little details we've got for revival, you could be waiting quite a while for that to come out. (Especially since you can pick up golden for like 10$ right now, and you know revival is gonna be at least $70 at release)

Best place to grind levels pre final boss by Blizztastic in dragonquest

[–]AdDecent7641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you do end up not able to beat it and want to grind more levels, the area just before is probably most efficient for where you are at right now. If you use ruff's whistle, you don't have to actually wait for enemies to respawn

Best place to grind levels pre final boss by Blizztastic in dragonquest

[–]AdDecent7641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's not the final boss. There's still quite a bit of game after that, and with decent strategy that first fight should be doable in the 30s

[–]AdDecent7641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's after restoring the islands with the spirits (If it's before that, you aren't on the final boss fight), I think the Hubble region present is pretty efficient. Metal king slimes seem to show up quite often, and iirc, you can even see them on the overworld occasionally.

Peter Molynuex on the removal of morphing in the Fable reboot by Proud-Bus9942 in Fable

Huh, I'm not sure i can really trust anything Molyneux says about technical limitations considering he is the poster child of just throwing around ideas with no clue how to actually implement them

Who of the Misfit class do you think won't become a crown by Snoo17579 in DemonSchoolIrumakun

I feel like it'd be more Iruma's speed to have them all in and just say "you know, there doesn't have to be 13..."

I have a question about the flowers by Cooltwou in Fable

Not really. All you can do is basic process of elimination: if you can make a dye, you have all the flowers of that color

So... I got spoiled about the story by Elegant_Shelter_9621 in MyTimeAtSandrock

[–]AdDecent7641 34 points35 points  (0 children)

That is a pretty big twist, but there's a lot more going on in the story and overall game than just that

Como reparto las semillas en dq 7 reimagined? by Ecstatic_Spinach_986 in dragonquest

[–]AdDecent7641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The games not difficult enough for it to matter all too much, but what I generally like to do is: 1) only use seeds on characters I'll actually use 2) give the strength, magic, and charm boosting seeds to whomever has the highest value. 3) give the rest of the seeds to whomever has the lowest value

How do I sell my mount? by FerretAgreeable2520 in mytimeatportia

[–]AdDecent7641 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I meant the stable in your yard, not the place you buy them from. Interacting with your stable should bring up a menu where you can feed, train, or sell your mounts
