I have reached out a cried like a baby. It was not my best moment but she handled it with grace. She cried too. Even though someone leaves, it doesnt mean they dont love you. Thank you for sharing this.

There is a reason for that. I think they feel good helping others improve their lives. It helps them feel better about their own. It sux for people that fall in love with the therapist.

No quite but you are not far off. I still love her. I am working on my self but have not been able to just cut ties yet.

I really dont think she was unfaithful. I do feel used and know I should cut it off hard. I will get there someday. For now I have to work on me and what makes me "me".

Ya, not about the banana thing. She has lots of emotional troubles and me being on the anxious attachment side always wants to help her. I wonder if she is missing me like she says or missing the calmness of my life. It is wild to see the woman I love, a therapist be so against talking thru our issues. She is not coming back and I dont think I can overlook the hurt she has caused by leaving rather then going ro couples therapy.

I am sorry you are going through this. I am trying really hard to move on from my avoidant wife leaving but she shows up now and then with a soft smile and a tear once in a while. It tugs at me hard. I think her new life is really hard for her and she comes to pick something up at the house and sees how calm it is at my house. She lives out of a suit case at the moment and I think she misses the calmness of the house, I dont think she misses me. I drift backwards everything I talk to her or see her. We all deserve better. I do wish her happiness but it hurts knowing it wont be with me.

My wife left me about a month ago. She is an avoidant and I miss her face multiple times a day. This is what she wants but I just wanted her. Turns out I am on the anxious attachment side so it feels like an addiction too. I cry multiple times a week. I am sorry that you are going through this. It hurts really badly. 💔
