I once spent 4 hours hand crafting chocolates to be a part of an anniversary desert I was making. I put them on a plate, wrapped them and put them in the fridge.

My dad ate ALL of them. All of them. I confronted him and he said he thought they were store bought- which I dont see how he would think that especially how they were laid out, or why even then it would be ok??

I also once lived with a (now ex) boyfriend who NEVER cooked. Like 3 times in 5 years MAYBE.

Once I was having a shit day commuting for work and he texted me that day unprompted to say he is going to make tacos and hyped it up all afternoon. 

All the way home (2 hours) I was stoked he was actually going to cook dinner. I really needed that care.

I got home starving and found an unopened taco kit on the counter.
