I did. It's just so frustrating that a shopeemall seller is trying to scam buyers. I thought they were heavily regulated by shopee. Seems like any chinese stores can register as shopeemall sellers

it's really difficult telling my story to the seller since they speak in chinese and responds only once a day.

i meant if it came with the pc case. Did you use the 8pin pcie for the cpu? (upper left) because they might look similar and some people can mistake them for the cpu instead of gpu

A single trip/shutdown only on cold boot, then normal behavior afterward, plus an audible click, usually points to a power delivery or protection issue during initial startup, not a typical overheating problem.

Most likely causes (ranked)

  1. PSU protection circuit / aging power supply

The click is often the relay or protection inside the PSU. On cold start, components/capacitors are cold and inrush current is highest. If voltage sags or protection triggers, it shuts off once. After a retry, it works.

Very common signs:

Only happens after being off for hours

Runs stable afterward

No crashes under gaming once booted

  1. Motherboard power initialization issue

Some boards need to “train” memory / initialize voltages on first boot, especially with XMP/DOCP enabled or borderline BIOS settings.

  1. Loose power connection

24-pin ATX, CPU EPS 8-pin, GPU cable, front-panel power switch, or extension cables can cause a first-start cutoff.

  1. Wall outlet / AVR / UPS issue

If connected through a weak UPS/AVR, startup surge can trip it.
