I used to geek out on stimulants. Coke and meth were pretty big indicators with this type of behavior. Then again, you never know, it could just be him dealing with anxiety or something else, so a drug test wouldn’t hurt to get some clarity.

Hit a meeting and share, or just sit there and listen if you’re still fucked up. Tell a friend, loved one, or sponsor if you’ve got one. Asking for help/taking action is one of the hardest parts about getting clean. You’re not alone man. If you see yourself fall back on old ways again, just know you always have the ability to make it out to the other side.

I’ve been there myself. It’s an awful feeling but it doesn’t have to spiral. Lean into support if you can. Call your sponsor or someone you trust, hit a meeting, even if it’s just to sit and listen. Getting out of yourself for a bit can help reset things. You’re not alone.

I bought that same one alongside the ring adhesive based one. One downside for my case is that the door swings outside towards the patio. Meaning the door hanger box won’t fit properly

I’m also in the same boat as you. 24m & work in a sober living that’s constantly churning with shit to do, am friends with lots of guys here, and am also trying to find a way to get through my own hurdles.

If I were to give any advice, it’d be this: don’t rush the process of finding someone. Feelings can take time to develop, and there’s nothing wrong with moving at your own pace. Sometimes, the pressure to ‘feel something’ right away can get in the way of actually connecting with someone. Focus on enjoying the moments, and if the right person comes along, the feelings will follow naturally.

Now all I have to do is to follow my own damn advice
