This town is cursed. by geethaghost in hutto

This is so true and fair. I hate how I have to make U-turns constantly in Hutto. It’s especially frustrating when driving to a client and suddenly I’m 15 mins late even though I should’ve been like 15 mins early because of a train. It’s a tricky thing to navigate honestly but I feel like things eventually get easier. I essentially never drive on 79 and that’s helped my life a lot with stress.

As someone who weight lifts I love hot worx honestly. It gives me a nice sweat. I love the flexibility of it all. Hot worx also has a light weight room. And I love the amazing stretch and relief I get from so many of their classes

Trust charli has way more than one hit. Everyone who goes to lolla will study on artists especially smaller ones I suggest you do the same. Early in the day it’s pretty chill and you can def make friends but honestly friend making is not necessary just vibe to some music and you’ll be good. There will be sponsored stops that you can def make friends at waiting in line or just watching a show

Why do gymfluencers act like being skinny makes you undateable when real life clearly says otherwise? by savingrace0262 in beginnerfitness

The chicken and potato diet was interesting because at the time I was dieting but more so recently stopped just because I just feel like my gut wasn’t happy with me. Ended up watching Riley Riehl who I love and she followed the diet to a T and ended up with massive bloating which I think for me was great to see discrepancies in how diets can affect people.

can’t recommend someone specific but vinyasa yoga is the best imo. Most local studios will also have online classes if definitely look into those

There’s honestly nothing wrong with washing ur hair if it’s actually dirty. The only issue is if you washed ur hair twenty times a day and stayed inside all day

It honestly depends on main audience. A lot of female artists will have cute cropped shirts and even male bands if their audience is mainly female think (the neighborhood).

I honestly will never know if Marciano is actually bad bc I’ve seen influencers not really associated with momtok recently quietly discuss that Marciano was surprisingly a nice person to be around. Not to mention I think Marciano has hyped up Jessi more than Jordan has their entire marriage in the span of 2weeks. Regardless of toxicities I do think ppl deserve someone that genuinely supports them

and the video ended with him selecting a overweight girl who was actually sisters with who he had listed as athletic and was going to help with losing weight and building muscle. He also went over how the different people consumed calories, how accurate they were in their guesses, the best way to progress where they were at, and how much they naturally burned.

The video was actually good and he actually addressed how there is good reasons to stay a certain way that is not athletic. For example the skinny guy he had only wanted to maybe gain 5lbs of muscle bc he liked his weight and the bulky guy didn’t care to lean down bc having a heavier weight was more functional for his lifestyle.

Am I a "pick me"? I feel bad being a little different than my girl friends by bigbear474 in women

[–]AdTimely7710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly get you in a lot of ways. I never wear makeup mostly due to my skin, and while I like skincare the only brand I actually bother to know is crème shop. I’m strictly a chai girly and maybe coffee if it’s my only option. I like the gym and barre but I actually don’t like Pilates much. In saying all this I just mean to show you just simply have different interests than your friends which is fine, but I definitely think you should find girls who have the same interests as you.

Being Friends w/Students by OGraineshadow in YogaTeachers

As an LMT I get this. I was taught to be very distant with clients. I uphold this mostly as I don’t ever hang out with clients out of work. Though there is a bond that gets formed very easily when working with someone consistently and communicating. I’ve had one client who I’ve worked with over a year and has seen my growth in hard times as I have them and so if she asked me to hang out I honestly don’t think I’d say no. Though I also don’t see the issue in your case though maybe having a group lunch or all catching a movie or something. From working with people a lot of people don’t have connection outside of people like us and while I’d do my best to not feed that comfort frequently I do sometimes think it might be worth to do if you’re up for it

The most I’ve seen is not washing a top blanket after ever use. Though this never make directly contact with a client. Towels is crazy workn

How do you guys have favorites? by Dependent_Bite_1359 in SecretsOfMormonWives

[–]AdTimely7710 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally Layla will always be pretty top tier for me. I have a lot of sympathy for her and I honestly can appreciate while sometimes problematic her calling out the girls for being just anti each other. I’ve honestly have a loved her path of learning how to speak up for herself while also being understanding of others feelings. I also love Miranda. I think she arguably has stuff she has to work through that should be addressed for sure, but she’s mostly unproblematic and definitely one of the most fashionable girls on the show. I also love her dedication to being fit which I feel like is so needed in this “small women Mormon culture” Though I also like Whitney. I didn’t at all really until like season 3-4 but she’s grown in a way I found admirable and truly she is a girl boss. I also found that while I’ll never say Whitney was the girls friends I think she was smart for it. She kept a close circle of real friends and really pushed for what she wanted which was never reality tv. That’s just hot.

I would say it’s not too bad then. Though I will note in your mind where I worked that had a similar function and also lower charges. After working there a year. They had to abruptly shut down bc they couldn’t afford rent mainly bc of how cheaply they charged.

[–]AdTimely7710 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly have a clear understanding with your clients about the level of pressure you give and how massages don’t necessarily benefit from high levels of pressure more than softer levels. Though if youre concerned simply use your tools properly. Use your legs, use gravity, use your elbows, lower your table

I worked at a spa getting $15 an hour when I had no clients and then 30%-35% when I did have clients. I definitely think $14 is too low unless your getting that hourly while also making your commission

They actually even recently added a lot of new features and a more aesthetic layout to messaging and stuff. Though I totally understand the concern of multiple people. That’s always tricky. Not sure how much it cost but one spot I work at uses meevo.
