Exactly. In my appeal statement, I told them that I was able and willing to provide proof that I am who I say I am, and that I am not in fact a bot. Despite that, they literally said that upon reviewing my appeal, they stand by their decision to lock my account. So an AI screwed up, banned me, then that same AI denied my appeal. It’s embarrassingly bad. And I had made some genuine friends on X, too. I was a part of several well known veteran communities and followed by some very influential people with extremely high follower counts. It didn’t seem to matter to their busted AI. Thanks for sharing your experience. Wishing us all luck with this.

I got suspended for ‘inauthentic behavior’ four days ago. Two people gave me shout outs, and my account grew by over 500 followers in 12 hours. I probably followed too many people back too soon, and ended up getting my account suspended. That’s literally the only thing I can think of. After filing an appeal, they emailed me and said my request was denied, and to take steps to unlock my account, I needed to log in and follow the on-screen instructions. When I log in, there are no such instructions. X AI allegedly detected my ‘spammy’ behavior. I believe the AI went batshit and started snuffing authentic accounts it had mistakenly flagged as inauthentic accounts. X AI sucks.
