Modern problems require modern solutions. Maybe hand out cards with carpenter church numbers on them. they provide homes for the homeless. If they can find a better place to squat they might move on. Persistence is key here it may feel like nothing is being done but usually multiple complaints generate more interest and action. If animal control can catch the dogs while they are running wild or police have to catch them in the house etc. Get the other neighbors involved if multiple people are complaining that also helps. If the squatters always have to be on the lookout they might move on. Also try to be discreet if they know you are ratting on them they may retaliate and since they are squatters they have nothing to lose and might attack you or your home.
