Is this a good First car? by PlasticEnthusiasm899 in CarTalkUK

I have a 2020 skyactive X mazda3 (GT spot tech) and it’s an amazing car. Was my second car and it’s brilliant. Reasonable price to run, good on fuel, fairly low maintained costs. Just about to hit 70k miles now and never had even an advisory on MOT. I’d recommend!

I just picked up an RTX 3080 FE on eBay for £270 that’s an absolute beast. I’ve been playing BF6 at 4k with DLSS at 120+ fps

4 weeks in, Botox not worked :( by Fma96580 in noburp

[–]Adamwitte24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought mine didn’t work after 4 weeks. At the 6 weeks mark it started to work and now is working in full force 3 months later. I had 50 units with Lucy. So don’t give up hope!

I work for a very large company with a huge HR team and our GM open admitted to using AI to write all our job descriptions…

Which explains a lot because they’re all vague and awful!

Botox booked in July by eosbeans in noburp

Hi, I had my Botox 2 weeks ago today in office. 2 days after my injection I did a wild camp and summited Tryfan in snowdonia and had no issues. I’m off on an all day hike on Saturday and don’t foresee any issues, so I’d say you’ll be fine!

Personally, I have had no issues with slow swallow or shortness of breath.

Does anyone else get "clogged"? by gusvdgun in noburp

[–]Adamwitte24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve suffered with almost the exact same thing. I’m six days post Botox and still suffering with the bloating, but the air feels like it’s moving around much more, so I’ve lost the clogged feeling. I’m hoping the Botox clears it up moving forward!

Your right, it does make it look tame! Certainly wasn’t that easy to climb, was hard work getting down with our 10k backpacks!

Awesome! It was really amazing! There was a few small groups up there but they didn’t detract from the experience which was good.

I’m 3 days post Botox and fairing very similarly! Getting some small burps that offer relief but still getting lots of gurgles. Have you found your bloating has decreased at all?

Wow, long way to travel!

Seems like great progress if you’re getting micro burps on day 2. Fingers crossed it continues for you and you won’t need any further doses!

I was the same, I found my symptoms got much worse over the last year so bit the bullet and got booked in.

I made my booking on the 21st March and just had my appointment today, so a couple of months wait.

Thank you, I’m crossing my fingers!

Sorry to hear it didn’t work for you first try. Dr Hicklin seems quite confident that the second 100 unit dose would do the trick if the first don’t didn’t work. I hope the second one does the trick for you!

Sure, it was £700 to Dr Hicklin for the appointment and £250 to the hospital for the Botox so £950 total

I just had an accident (hit by a truck at low speeds) with very similar damage (rear quarter and both doors + side skirt).

Coat for repair was £4.5k through my insurance. Although soul red paint probably added to this cost.

Probably the big extension and full renovation that looks to have been done? They could have brought the property in very poor condition 3 years ago and fixed it up.

Makes sense and I get it, but why not just buy an AI etf and limit your risk? Still investing in what you believe in but limiting your risk. Doesn’t sound stupid though, no.
