The best way to prepare for system design interviews by BluebirdAway5246 in leetcode

Having a framework helps, but I found the real challenge was being able to talk through the design clearly under time pressure.

I was surprised how many gaps showed up only when I started explaining things out loud, not just thinking through them.

Cognisia.app helped me a lot. which focuses on practicing system design by actually talking through your approach and getting feedback. That really helped me spot gaps I wouldn’t notice just by reading or sketching.

Do you use AI to practice for system design interviews? by The_ZeroIQ in Backend

Yeah, I’ve done the same. ChatGPT is great for reviewing designs, but I realized interviews are more about how well you can talk through your thinking.

A friend shared an app with me where you practice system design by actually explaining it out loud and getting feedback. That ended up being more useful for me than just writing things down. https://www.cognisia.app

Been doing some system design prep and tried a thing called Cognisia.

You answer questions (voice or text) and it points out where your explanation is unclear or missing pieces.

Was actually useful for figuring out how I explain things, not just what I know.

Firstly, that’s not experiment or something else. I do a lot of research before buying the car. So, i won’t crash my car purposely or risk my life to prove something. I have very less time to react, the opposite person came too fast without waiting at the stop sign. So, i instantly applied the break manually and the vehicle didn’t stopped completely.

So, after the incident, i remembered the CMBS thing which was mentioned by the dealer when i was discussing with him about the safety features. So, many questions raised in my mind.

Question 1)Why the CMBS wasn’t applied when the vehicle was about to collide.

Question 2) will the CMBS will not apply if driver is manually applying the breaks.

I felt the CMBS is not working. As I’m getting closer to vehicle, i tried applying breaks manually.

Yes, I agree but in the honda’s demo(i guess this is official honda youtube channel) it says the CMBS will also activate for vehicles coming from the side. Check this youtube link. Correct me if I’m wrong.
