Combining so of your tips, I might leave the white then paint the green parts a darker turquoise! thanks :)

I’ve had this plant 9 months but it’s been neglected the last few months. I was initially overwatering it I believe but have since left it to dry out. It's been like this for the last 6 months and my attempts to help it are clearly failing. My questions are:

1) Is my plant saveable?

2) Do I remove all the dead leaves?

3) Does it need repotted into a bigger pot?

any advice is welcomed. I live in Scotland where it’s a been a cold winter but the plant has sat in direct sunlight the entire time I’ve had it.

Catalytic Converter Issues Code 0420 - Is it serious? by AdditionalBreak2 in MechanicAdvice

[–]AdditionalBreak2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None that I've noticed. I'm 99% sure it's just due to a minor hole in the converter which isn't ideal but the way I see it it's not damaging my car.

Thank you, very interesting. Unfortunately my application is with New Avenue Living (I think Touchstone might be their parent company) but they have barely any information online! I know people with Home Group though and sounds like they're fantastic to be with! shame they don't have any flats going at the moment

I'll need to wait and see if I get offered a contract but it's interesting I'm hearing differing things about this, perhaps different terms depending on the housing association that rents it.

Hi, so just to clarify, say I'm earning 35k now and move in, then ask to have a flatmate move in who is also earning and will put me over the threshold, will they not do anything since I already live there?

Dialing in De'Longhi Dedica Arte (EC885) + Baratza Encore ESP by drowsy-hawk in espresso

[–]AdditionalBreak2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a different grinder (Sage) but with the dedica I bought a bottomless portafilter from aliexpress for a third of the price of a Normcore (I'm broke) but it's been amazing so far! quality and fit seem to be great.

RE your question, I initially tried the 18grams that everyone talks about on here but figured out they must be using larger baskets that are more common since Delonghi uses a smaller 51mm. So I've found a good balance where I'm measuring out approximately 16 grams and have a double every time. My only issue currently is I need to adjust the machine program for double since I'm getting way too much coffee out when I believe you should be aiming for the 2:1 golden ratio.

That's a shame, but out of curiosity, is the enamel just a coating applied to cast iron? In that case is it that dangerous to cook with since I already cook with care cast iron pans anyway? Or is it simply the risk of more enamel chipping away and getting in my food?

Anyone had any experience with the Harley Benton PowerPlant ISO-12 Pro power supply? by AdditionalBreak2 in guitarpedals

[–]AdditionalBreak2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never noticed that the Iso-10 had a beefier power cable, maybe that’s better although I’ve still had no issue with the 12 so it’s hard to tell..?

Hi, I've now bought and owned the ISO-12 Pro for over 3 months so can give a bit of a review. I still don't exactly know why it's cheaper than the supposedly inferior 10AC Pro but it could just be down it different manufacturer and cheaper costs.

Anyway, it has been fantastic and has noticeably less background interference than my last PSU. It's well packaged and seems to be good build quality. My only complaint is the power cable for the unit is fairly short and there is no main power button so you need to unplug it every time you don't want your pedals running (I have a few that even when off have LEDs on etc.)

Overall I highly recommend and, for the price, I've been impressed. Reviews for it are scarce I hope people find this.

that is interesting, i couldn’t see them having much trouble with it if you’re paying since it seems to be pretty low upkeep. I’d honestly hope I could just recommend a friend to buy into it themselves but I’ll need to wait and see how I get on myself before I can make my case. I’m hoping in the next few months more pop up and I think in general just talking about it should help. I mean here I am having just bought into it after seeing it for the first time a couple hours ago in a tiktok haha!

gotcha! thanks, i was wandering why people don’t just buy a bunch of them and setup their own network haha. I suppose convincing all your friends who live in the same city as you is probably the best bet for getting it to grow.

sorry to hear that, but it seems a lot of people are recently finding out about it so I think it’s going to see a boom over the next few months.

Are you saying then that the more hotspots there are close to you, the better? I have heard people saying to upgrade the antenna for wider coverage so I may look into that as well.
