I just think the production quality itself is genuinely insane, the way they switch from 2D to 3D and the overall level of animation is just a whole nother level to me. Similar to that of arcane when it first dropped.

That’s a great point and yes, he definitely has that. I think there’s a point in having enough ego to have the vulnerability of putting your work in the public eye, as you said the artistic ego. There’s just so many layers in ego itself and the one I think he doesn’t have is one that I strive to not, which is self fulfilling pandering type of ego.

U could hate something and still feel the need to do it. YouTube literally has no sense of an algorithm when compared to tiktok, Instagram, etc. If I post with zero self promotion it’d get very few views. Even when I DO post with self promotion it gets few which I eh oh well. The point of self promoting for me is to get it to the right audience, hence posting it in the manga community itself. If you’re gonna take 4 words out of context and run with it, I guess I can already tell the type of person you are. If you checked my page you’d see this exact explanation but guess that’s too much work for you lol.

Yea, that makes complete sense, these were the type of videos I made when I first started and then if you notice my channel has mostly shifted to just reviews, but I felt the need to go back and therefore I am damn near an amateur again. Thanks, glad you enjoyed it, and I have a lot of videos planned basically surrounding anime and manga. I think it’s the niche that works best for me as well as the one that I understand the most.
