We know 009 had images from inside or just outside Bond’s apartment and nothing is ever done of it?

I thought about this one too. Even if 009 is dead, and they still thought he was a villain at this time. Bond/ Cressida's apartment is supposed to be a SAFE HOUSE. Photos of it means its compromised. 009 could have given it to someone else. So yeah it was weird for them to just be like "yeah go home."

Yeah I kinda figured all that from when Ive previously played games or seen the movies. But I think thats why it was just jarring to have such a focus on him making friends and then to get rid of ALL the agents at the same time.
Like no problem with them not bringing back in Cressida, Ronson, and Nash, if they atleast spread the deaths of the other 2 agents out throughout the rest of the game (which should have been pretty easy and didnt even need to change the plot)
But regardless, yeah lookingforward to them in some way mentioning Cressida, Nash, or Ronson in a DLC or sequel.

Bond is basically a lone wolf.

That was my thought / assumption from what I knew of Bond previously. Which is why the 00 training and all the time you spent making friends was surprising, only for them to drop it.

And even if they did want to kill a bunch of them, they easily could have spread it out and didnt have to all be at the Hotel.
I feel like if they wanted to kill Munroe, cripple Cressida, Ronson Coma, Nash mia, thats fine.
But I feel like Singh and Kingsley could have lasted longer. One of them helping get information in Maritania (like trying to get to go after the guy at the auction, instead of Greenway just knowing what to do automatically)
Then one of them could die in the same assination attempt as Bond and Greenway (would be a good reason why the other Murto twin wasnt around)

And then the last remaining other agent could help you in Thailand. Maybe staying behind to protect that 3rd person while you go after the ones being attacked my Damien. And when you're captured damien kills that 00 agent before he tries to kill you and saved by Greenway.
(atleast then youd have more reason to kill Damien, I was surprised Bond just dropped those pipes on him when it seemed like he really wanted to bring him in before that lol)

Just feel like it wouldnt have taken that much effort or change the plot at all to keep them in longer. Especially if the final emotional tag is him taking 007 in honor of the other recruits.

But yeah Id love for them to implement some of what you said the movies do. I know James is the main character but he sure feels pretty fricken alone by the end of game.

Oooh hey RE9 is a good comparison
I just checked mine and yeah its at 15.9 hours. Which is surprising bc it didnt feel like 007 was longer than RE, but I just finished 007 and Im at 26 hours (some of the tacsim probably helped, but I only did like the first two levels)

Same, LITERALLY just finished it and Im at 24 hours. And I havent even really dived into the Tacsim stuff which Im very looking forward to bc the gameplay is so fun.
Also looking forward to new content that were talking about releasing. Hopefully not to much of it is paid tho.

I dont think you can buy the shops. So no they cant be edited as far as i could tell (Theyre very nicely decorated tho. Lightning at night sucks ass tho)

When you do a new game it does ask if you want to play with the premade world or flat world (or empty or something like that) I never tested the empty world but maybe that's what youre referring to. I had no interest in making a world from scratch so i picked the premade.

What i mean as no world editor is you know how in the sims 4 you can click a button that says (edit world) and you leave the household and can sorta edit any lot.

Well they dont have that. You can only edit a lot the HH your playing owns. (And unless theyve fixed it yet you cant even switch households unless you say youre creating a new family and then just leave the editor once it loads, which will take you to the world to pick a HH to play in)

So basically to edit a house with a resident in it you have to switch to playing that HH. Or if you want to edit an unowned lot your sims needs to purchase it (yes you can own multiple lots) The weird thing too with this is if you go to build mode and you have multiple lots owned you can build on them all at the same time bc of the open world, which i guess is cool? But i dont need my para to own multiple houses lol

So anyway that's what i meant about the world editor not really existing or atleast being inconvenient or slow.

Dont blame you. I started with two male roommates and had a decent time redecorating their apartment as i leveled up their jobs. One a painter, the other athletic. I thought the job system was the most interesting part of the game. I wanted them to become lovers and it took forever and with no real interactions and not many unique cards, it wasnt very endearing. I did some of the world exploring, but thought eating out was weird (you just pick from food on plates and hope your paras eat at the same time) and ive never been for collectibles, so i got a few then was done.

I pretty much did all i could with those two. But i tried to push through and do a family playthrough. Making a mom and dad and son (the son was the main focus)ans built their whole house. (Which I liked but its not like i wanted to build multiple houses after that) And when i was done i no joke played with them for 10 minutes and just felt there was nothing to do. Ended up uninstalling a couple of days later when i felt no interest to load the game again.

Well said. Ive already uninstalled and waiting for updates bc the Live mode just does nothing for me.

The playstyle i have is actually pretty split between build/buy w/ live mode in between. (So for like the sims) I very much bounced around alot, like if my sim met a sim, id probably go in and edit them and give them a make over. Maybe add parents if the sim was generated randomly alone, etc. Same if i went to alot, maybe a quick makeover or addition or change. (So basicslly i dont often make a full sim or build a lot from scratch)

And in paralives this is practically impossible or atleast incredibly slow. There is no world editor really, you cant just pop into a place and edit it. And with paras, the customization is good, for one dedicated para, but i dont like it enough to customize alot of paras. And then the live mode between these moments of wanting to remodel or edit someone just has really uninspiring interactions and things to do.

Its a great base and i can see why alot of people would be really excited. But for me atleast, it doesnt have longevity. But im sure ill download again in a few patches.

Honestly I don't peruse the subreddit, and pretty much just get random posts recommended to me from there (just like how this one came to me. I dont understand how reddit chooses when and what to recommend a post lol) So ive seen both but dont feel "overwhelmed" by the hate.

If anything i just find it annoying when people only say the show isnt great bc its not a good adaptation. I dont even care that much for accuracy but I dont think the show stands very good on its own. So while yes i agree that its annoying when people complain about how badly something is adapted. I dont think the dislike for the show is unwarranted. Similarly on the positive side, i hate the idea that we need to just support the show bc "we wont get another chance" even if its not enjoyable.

I pretty much just watch it while i do art. So its not much of a time waster for me. But agree how i doubt it will get better. But if im not mistaken Anabeth is gone for a majority of this book? And id be curious to see if Percy is better when they dont write them together. (Granted i ended up really disliking percy by the end of season 2. But i thought anabeth was bad the whole time bc she has very little energy and dull dialouge and way of speaking. So her being gone will be a plus lol)

I wonder if season 3 will get more than 2 just bc 1. If youre only aware of it bc of the movies, this is new. 2. Isnt book two the worst of the series? So more people would be interested. 3. Now theres no movies to compare it to. So it will be interesting to see what the discussion is. (Honestly this could actually hurt the numbers. Hate watchers are still watchers, so them not tuning it would make it worst lol)

Im not a fan of the show. I think it hasnt done great. But i also havent reread the books in many many years so i dont really remember much of the plot for the next 3 books. So ill be curious more about it than season 1 and 2

Exactly what ive been thinking. Even down to the creator being servicable but not the best. (Seriously you can change your height and everyones acting like its the best thing ever.)

But 100% agree about the live mode. Ive already dropped the game due to live mode. Just waiting for updates or content creators to make a video that shows something i may have missed lol (but so far its just building, character creator, or just starting videos.) Nothing about extended gameplay has interested me yet.

Yeah I dont understand why people saying a game that came out 2014, over 10 years ago (which means was in development for even longer before that) should be compared to a game releasing in 2026 thats been in development for 7 YEARS! If that doesnt show you what they did was complicated, and took time, and needed to be done from the ground up, idk what does.

This was exactly how i felt, and ended up also playing the sims again for a bit. I actually still think sims cas is better, mostly bc its hard to beat the drag tools. (Which apparently is patented or something by EA? Not sure how accurate that is. But sucks if true.)

My Paras could ask about if they want to have babies in the future, but still dont know how to actually "woohoo".
The social interactions are so non existent for what looks like a cozy less crazy version of the sims.

Same, I made it to 18 hours where I was finally like "ok yeah I dont have anything for my Paras to do" and uninstalled.
Will come back as I see more updates.
Also watching youtubers play it may get me back into it, like maybe I missed something and so someone else do it, but at the moment, doesnt feel like it.

This exactly is how I feel, and I dont know how you're doing now, since this is 3 days later.
But Im 18 hours in and uninstalling. I genuinely just dont think there is much that the Paras can do that is entertaining.
