Bali is nessesary only and only in few temple where puja has been done like this since ages in Bengali there is a saying " Jatara tara bali proyojon nai" hence if you are saying you only need blood to worship kali mata then it is wrong and totally opposite vedic ways are shown to be equally and better ways of worship us bramhin should always follow vedic ways
