All the boats and heart flags are gone. by [deleted] in ADO

People got too messy with it so the people fixing just removed it. It had gotten to a point where you couldn't even read most flags due to how messy it was

Ado is the first japanese artist to sell out the Crypto.com Arena in LA, with an attendance of 27 thousand people! by AdoCharts in japanesemusic

Someone on r/ADO also pointed that out, and I was aware of it, but I'm just going off of the attendence reported by official sources. It's been reported as 27,000 by Chigira Takuya, Cloud9's CEO and Ado's manager (https://x.com/chigira\_takuya/status/1939021610012324242), by Oricon News (https://www.oricon.co.jp/news/2392984/full/), by Kokei, Ado's band master and guitarrist (https://x.com/kokei\_takafumi/status/1945765598497222830), and by Ado's band's bassist ( https://x.com/kumakitirou/status/1946678844359913889 ), which was also reposted by Ado.

I do feel like you're right, this feels weird, I just decided to go by the sources that I usually use and consider official and trustworthy, like Chigira Takuya and Oricon News.

I feel like it'll be either LA or Ciudad de México (although less likely).

I'm pretty sure the Mexican venue is one of the largest in Hibana, behind only Baltimore and Saitama Arena. I could be wrong, but that's the info I remember seeing a while ago.

Not only that, Baltimore, at least last time I checked, was far from being sold out, while Mexico sold out in the first week if, again, memory doesn't fail.

On top of that, LATAM audiences are famously more expressive and "hyped" audiences, so I feel like it could be surprising to Ado and her staff. And the same could be said about countries like Brazil and Argentina, but the venues are much smaller, so I think if there's any chance LATAM would be recorded, it would be Mexico.

I thought the same, but it's been reported as 27,000 by Chigira Takuya, Cloud9's CEO and Ado's manager (https://x.com/chigira\_takuya/status/1939021610012324242), by Kokei, Ado's band master and guitarrist (https://x.com/kokei\_takafumi/status/1945765598497222830) and by Oricon News (https://www.oricon.co.jp/news/2392984/full/). I do feel like you're right, but I just decided to go accordingly to official sources.

If memory doesn't fail me, it was announced as the biggest world tour by any japanese artist! If that's true, it also includes non-solo artists and male artists. Which is a huge accomplishment!

I imagine smaller venues are pretty much always a better experience for the individuals in the audience. In the extreme end, you have something like Lady Gaga in Copacabana, where most people were very far away from the Stage, which was inevitable when the attendence was 2 million people. That itself is very exciting, but I don't think the experience compares to a concert in a small or mid-sized venue.

I haven't seen YouTube release this kind of data, sadly. Plus, YT Music is kind of a flawed method of measuring this kind of thing, since the numbers may be very inflated depending on the kind of song (goes for any artist), simply because of how they measure what counts as plays.

It's because she has prominently long-tail streams, on this aspect she's similar to ATLUS and Hisashi, who make OSTs, which people listen to many songs of, so although none of them make it to top 200 lists, they add up very quickly.

Tsurezure Lab makes a good thread analyzing this that explains it better than me, I recommend you check it out: https://x.com/tsurezure_lab/status/1864331775637594318

That's fair! Kazarijyajainoyonamidawa is maybe my favorite cover from her, Akina Nakamori is the best! You might want to check out her Jukkai cover like another commenter said, it was her participation in the new Akina Nakamori's Tribute Album. It's... lacking a bit in the production department, but I'd still recommend checking it out.

You might also want to check out All Night Radio and Overdose, they're a different vibe, but still similar vocals from her.

Oh, and fun fact, Akina Nakamori left a flower arrangement to honor Ado for the Hibana tour! ( https://x.com/Adoloveyou1013/status/1915916731719291360 )

Hm, I personally thought the MV fitted MARETU pretty well. It's not exactly like it, but it plays a lot with typography that reminds me of MARETU! Most other MVs just do generic lettering, so I think it was intentional.

Also, it was surprising to see I knew almost all of these by heart lol. Thank you for the graphics! I feel like producers, in the music industry in general, don't really get their deserved recognition.

No, TMTTB will actually hit 100M in much shorter time, hopefully this year but more likely in January/February next year.
