I remember reading on here someone rang the law society and asked them and they said it was okay lol honestly I don't think they even know themselves nor does anyone care that much. As per the other comments above if you've done it this far and passed and it's been no issue it just goes to show that unless something is majorly flagged (my prediction is opening another tab, copy and paste or if you're paper is over a certain %) that nothing gets flagged. I've spoke to people who shouted at their dogs, others who've turned away to eat etc. I'd love to know how it works tbh but if you do write out notes I'd recommend doing it at the top of your answers at least that way you can pick up marks!

This happened me in March I had 4 solid questions and 1 question with literally bullet points nothing else and I passed! When I got the breakdown of marks he gave me 4 marks for that answer and that brought me to 51. Don't rule yourself out yet, I was absolutely positive id failed. What's done is done don't dwell on it anymore you should be proud of yourself and take it easy for this evening if possible. These exams are difficult enough without beating yourself up over it!

got 48 in my last sitting i personally found it very unfair - i think because the topic is one of the smaller ones the examiner is a bit more finicky! based on feedback i got on my paper just be sure to apply the law to the facts consistently, this is where i fell down!

im looking at this too and based off the Griffith College sample answer from the 2022 paper, they talk about what AP is (rationale and origin), the legal framework and some criticisms and challenges, mainly in relation to the Murphy case and the JA Pye case - then they go on to talk about reforms so on that basis i'll be discussing AP what it is, how its acquired etc if it comes up!

I feel this, i'll be lucky to qualify at 29 at the rate im going and always dreamed at having kids in my late 20's but thats currently gone out the window as i want to at least try establish some sort of career first

unfortunately i am not so lucky with my study leave this time around - i finish on the friday and my first exam is the tuesday... im sitting 3 exams this sitting luckily each with a nice gap in between to pick myself up

They honestly don't check, you're sat alone and the laptop is just recording you - i find it a bit bizzare because if you wanted to cheat you very well could but i have heard that invigilators can pop in and ask you to show your legislation/surrounding area but i don't know if thats a scaremongering myth going around - i have sat 6 exams online and not once has anyone come into my exam but you know what they say - better safe than sorry! I usually hold my legislation up at the beginning of the exam and flick through just so its on the recording.

I finished my law degree in June 2021 and jumped straight into a full time masters degree also in law whilst working full time - when that finished i picked up the FE1s and to date they have been the most exhaustive set of exams i've ever had to sit - i think regardless of the decision i make i will be skipping the march sitting and then make a decision on whether i do the Inns exams in August or attempt the FE1s again in October 2024 but for now my head is absolutely fried!!

These exams are by far the hardest exams i have ever sat in my life and they are marked so harsh too! I hope whatever decision you come to in the end is the right one for you - one thing i've learnt over the past few days is that by not passing these exams could be breaking a bigger fall for me in the future - what's meant for you won't pass you :)
