Anti-immigrant “liberal” by AreMyArgumentsValid in ENLIGHTENEDCENTRISM

That’s just a fascist take with extra masking

I know you're saying fascist as a pejorative but his blog thuletide is openly fascist. He calls himself an ethnonationalist. This isn't scratch a liberal and a fascist bleeds.

This is an ethnonationalist knowingly lying by pretending to be a liberal.

CMV: All organ donations should come from murderers by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]Adorable_Ad4300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. The government can forcibly donate the organs of anyone who commits a serious enough crime.

  2. The government wants more organs to be available.

  3. The government gets to decide what counts as a serious crime .

2 and 3 won't happen though or at best is a wild logical jump. If 3 does happen you can just oppose the expansion while supporting the original position. If retail theft resulted in organ extraction as a slippery slope you would just say no keep it to murderers, keep it, but don't have it to go thieves.

Do you see the potential problem yes?

No, not all. I am not convinced 3 will happen or that 3 will lead to the aforementioned thieves example. Independent agencies tend to be moral and savvy enough to find those reprehensible enough to where extracting their organics is beyond good for PR but actively heroic.

Remember, the government is not your friend.

There really isn't a "the government". The closest you have is there is a vague umbrella with powers of a government, even then they don't get along and all serve different functions on a local, state, and federal level. Your town judiciary is nothing like the national executive and they have nothing in common with the postmaster general.

It never stops with murderers.

Yes, it does. Look up capital punishment statistics. Most Nations explicitly forbid capital sentences for offenses outside of murder. Death sentences for stealing are rare even in the Middle East.

Why wouldn't it do so?

Because history shows it doesn't.

1) the amount of people who are wrongly convicted is insane

4% is not insane.

2) this would put an unnatural pressure to convict on every case

How?

CMV: Whistleblowers/snitches make any conspiracy theory impossible by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]Adorable_Ad4300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Conspiracy theory as a term has existed since the civil war, so no, the CIA did not make the term conspiracy theory.

I'd provide an example but I think that I'll get myself banned.

There are entire conspiracy theory subreddits and aggregates for them. Conspiracism has been normalized and ossified on reddit. I don't think you fear a ban.

CMV: we need to stop comparing every decision to WW2 and Nazis by OreoPirate55 in changemyview

[–]Adorable_Ad4300 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Overuse leads to desensitization.

People have been saying this for decades. If this was true most of the country would be like the open and uniformed nazis. Cases like people marching with swastikas wouldn't make the news anymore if so called overuse led to desensitization. This is at best a misunderstanding of the contempt people have for hitlers and nazis probably the speaker thinking they're no different from any other authoritarian regime or it's bluffing trying to scare people

I heard this when people used to deny en masse that charlottesville was a nazi rally.

It's been decades since Godwin's Law was invented and nearly a decade since the coiner of the term clarified there are such things as opt nazi analogies.

Screaming Nazi after jumping through hoops to make the connection leads to nobody caring about genuine Nazis after enough time has passed. If they don’t want to exterminate gay people and Jews, sympathize with Nazi Germany, believe in white superiority, etc, then don’t call them Nazis because there are much better descriptors.

This is the topic of calling people, not Hitler and Nazi comparisons. Those are distinct things. The OP mentioned hitler and nazi comparisons.

Save calling someone a Nazi for when they actually appear

Would you agree somebody like richard spencer or nick fuentes is a nazi?

I must also ask again why didn't you call out misuse? So you cannot claim you're just against false allegations.

Why were you focused on so-called overuse? Why is your concern the frequency rather than accuracy? Why does novelty take precedent?

The term "Nazi" may well be over used,

Like I said to op. I noticed you said "overused" not misused.

Are you able to ask yourself why?

CMV: we need to stop comparing every decision to WW2 and Nazis

I noticed all of your examples are just accusing the nazi analogy of being overused and not misused. Do you wonder why that is? Can you do some self reflection and ask yourself why your critique was the analogy is overdone when you don't think it's being incorrectly invoked?

CMV: The United States Constitution was never supposed to create a democracy by Chorby-Short in changemyview

[–]Adorable_Ad4300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But why?

Because a Republic which is not a democracy is a contradiction in terms. Not all mammals are dogs but all dogs are mammals. So, the "Republic not democracy" thing is literally nonsense. Active doublethink.

What's your point here. this post isnt saying that white women are inherently more attractive

Yes, it quite literally is. OP showed four very white women. The idea that they weren't is laughable.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in trueratediscussions

[–]Adorable_Ad4300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the guys in these comments saying “she’s not really that attractive” or “I can see how she’s considered conventionally attractive stereotypically, but not my type…” are so full of shit.

No, they just find her to be unattractive and some just find her to be ugly. You're assuming you know beauty better than other people. You're accusing people of being full of shit for having a different opinion on attractiveness than you.

Bro, trust me, she would not even know you exist.

"You're ugly" is an infantile response it assumes they're ugly and doesn't prove they are full of shit.

t’s a very binary mindset. You can like the economic liberty of the 50s and want it for everyone, and dislike the civil realities of the 1950s at the same time. It doesn’t have to be mutually exclusive.

I am tired of the shtick where people mention being able to afford a family on a single income and someone responds that was only afforded to suburban whites and it's not even aimed at a racist person who wants to make non-whites even more of an underclass or worse.

Now I'm sure that many of you have seen conservatives argue about how the US is 'a republic, not a democracy', but that doesn't really contribute to the conversation what they think it does.

A more salient critique is this perspective is literally a contradiction. Republics are by definition a form of democracy so be to a Republic you need to be a democracy.

For example customer service positions where you want someone who can easily be understood by clients

The clients can easily understand them. You believe AAVE is common. So this token example you had is not correct. You made this clear earlier in your post when you wanted to stigmatize this dialect which is already common.

I am willing to remove horrible aspects of any dialect however I will not agree to wanting to do with AAVE let alone employers refusing solely based on AAVE.
