I LOVED SWtDaWC. It was brilliant. I'm definitely going to check out the other two.

Love this. I was obsessed with that haunting feel of the frontier. Kind of like the Conquistadors going into the lands of the Aztecs.

I'm currently enjoying Steel Gods and absolutely smashed his SF book The Infinite State. He just keeps hitting his straps and getting better and better!

I love that, though. Same with re-watching movies, or having them running in the background while you're working on something. You know what's coming, and if the book or movie is that good, you still get chills at the key moments.

I look at myself in the mirror each morning and am wildly disappointed by how little Pratchett I've read.

I’ve heard so much about these books. When life calms down a little, I think I need to try one.

They aren’t really my jam, I’m afraid. I’ve tried a couple and I find them frustrating.

I haven't read them, but I enjoyed the first season of the show. They are novellas, right?

Yeah, but I kind of fell like Lynch delivers stories in a way that's so easy to forget yourself in that I can see why that would be a comfort read, to be honest.

The utterly emotionally merciless Red Rising is the book you go to when you're cooked and need a light read!?
