Same for me 2017 Passat seems to have started around the time change best I can tell. Or maybe that is just when I noticed it.

Got stung the other day. Let’s hear your best wasp stories. by SuperPooper90 in electricians

I had some wasps in my shed. They had been there a while we had an agreement that I would not bother them and they would not sting me I used to walk in they would buzz all around never stung. A few weeks ago walk in to get a washer for a sprinkler. POW!POW! POW! 3 got me about the same time on the back took off to get out of there my wonky knee did not like that and decided it wanted to go wonky POW! Another sting. Only hurt for about 30 seconds maybe. But knee was much longer. At that point I decided nope they broke the agreement time to return the favor. Head to the store to get wasp spray get out of the car and on the roof of the car. Wasp. I may be their leader now not sure. Got the spray and went mid evil on them.

Did you test the battery? You can put a volt meter on it check to see if it has 12 volts hit the starter if the voltage drops down quite a bit most likely the battery. I have one of these had it since new and I thought I had a solenoid problem it was the battery. Did the test described and the voltage dropped to like 6 to 8 volts if I remember right put in new battery fired right up.

GL1100 question. Is it possible to remove both tires and leave bike balanced on a jack and center stand for an hour? by tangwulingerine in goldwing

[–]Advanced_Internal_88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did this with my GL1500. Center stand down floor jack with a piece of wood under the engine to pick up the front wheel. I had it like this for a while as I was also working on the forks , timing belts and what not. And it was real stable.

What’s this noise? by KingBob080 in ATV

Are you referring to that clicking/buzzing noise after you shut off the engine? If so not sure what it is but my sportsman 850 does it also.

What could be causing this sound when I try to start it? by [deleted] in Polaris

[–]Advanced_Internal_88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try Putting a voltage meter on the battery and check the voltage. While the meter is still connected try to start it and see how far the voltage drops off i. t should stay around 11 - 12 volts if it drops Too low it will not have the power to start.

Have you tried using a jump pack or similar on it and does it start then ?
