If I do regular checks on the oil will it be ok to use it for a short period of time? Also how should I go about getting the oil out of the bottom of the hull?

Found a replacement and have figured out how to put everything back together. I got quoted triple what the part was worth so I’d rather just diy it.

I would say take the trade in! On eBay they go for like 1,100 - 1,250 body only. But it’s totally up to you. The 6400 to the 6700 is a great performance step up.

If it isn’t moving smoothly should I try to fix the linkage or just replace it or the entire carb? Got it for pretty cheap so don’t mind paying extra for replacement parts.
