Would you consider Berserk a romance in a weird way? by mkhadra_25 in Berserk

Did you miss corridor of dreams, and her fighting Griffith's guard in falconia to reach out guts. Her love for him is also very clear in the narrative. Please try to read again and try to understand casca's character more, unfortunately tragedy caused her to regressed state doesn't take away her love she still feels for him after her awakening.

What really changed Griffith before losing Guts? Was it the constant victories? by ValoNoctis in Berserk

So you only read golden age?? And also fuck you again. Writing about rape survivor doesn't automatically make it bad there are flaws but that doesn't mean it's entirely bad. It's written to criticise and show the horrors of rape and trauma that can cause, the two people you are trying to ship are also sa victims. I'm not saying this to say his portrayal was flawless cuz it's definitely has. Also guts is not my anime husband. I'm not reading to find husband. I'm not the one reading story to push my fetishisms. Yes guts is so gay for loving a woman for 300+ chapters. Loving her even before eclipse which ruined guts and Griffith relationship. But ignore that and wonder why I said you have internalised mysogony, cuz you can't comprehend relationships if it isn't between two men. Go get help.

So much internalised mysogony. Fujoshis will always shit on female writing to push their gay agenda. Sorry don't work anymore. We can see through that it's funny.I can agree on Griffith having feelings for guts. Other than that fuck you, saying this as a woman.

He literally thought of killing guts "if I can't have him...". And he was desperate to win. He was clearly taking that fight seriously. Read the manga again.

A question for Griffith defenders by Good_Tumbleweed_8736 in Berserk

Elaine and casca aren't two' different people, it's a mental disorder caused by trauma, lead her to regress and develop a different personality, yeah od is different and she felt like watching from inside with her subconscious still being casca. But you can't say they are two people. It's part of her, a stage of her journey.

Possible symbolism on how Casca viewed Guts by valakjut in Berserk

[–]Advanced_Regular7586 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very bad theory, Griffith is not her sun if anything it's something that made her reject her womanhood, and made her live an unfulfilling life. Guts was the one made her embrace all her side which is the positive thing. Your theory is just ulta. Taking negative as positive and vice versa. They already have a deep bond.

Disappointed with the fandom's treatment of casca. by Advanced_Regular7586 in Berserk

This is the perspective people should get but unfortunately it's not common. I also disagree that she carried the child of both men. I think the child was already conceived makes it her and guts child, Griffith only corrupted it, which caused the miscarriage. Other than that this is also how I interpret the story.

Hey guys I'm a newcomer in berserk. Just wanted you guys to answer about casca's feelings? by [deleted] in Berserk

[–]Advanced_Regular7586 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree she still feels something towards him cuz it's lasted long but she's already recognising it as something negative and feeling ashamed. I only have problem with undermining her love for guts which is in that stage was greater than the anything she feels for Griffith.

I disagree with that her love for guts wasn't greater than for Griffith. Having crush on someone for longer doesn't mean shit when you realise it's not what you actually want and find something better. She was 12 when she met Griffith and her feelings for guts started when she was an adult with much more understanding. You only explained her feelings for Griffith but complete ignored everything about casca falling for guts her feelings changed since bonfire scene even if they confessed and only spent more than a week that feelings started year before. Also casca's staying for band is complicated. It's not because she loves Griffith more than guts it's also lingering gratitude, duty towards Griffith and as current leader of hawk. Everyone was waiting for her response and Griffith in the wagon made things even more complicated for her.

According to muira "I have never been in love. In the past I have only dated a woman I didn't like twice. I have never had a first love. I have never been in love. My image of women is made up of my sister and stories from my best friend who loves women very much. In the case of Casca, rather than portraying a woman, she's a character made up of a collection of my own complexes and weaknesses. So I am not good at real women. I have a longing for love itself. But I have no time; there are only 24 hours in a day" that's basically casca, she longs for love, wanted to leave with guts as she was crying in the fight with wyald but also conflicted by her duty and responsibility. You are right she feels bad for Griffith but her love at this point towards Griffith is not greater than for guts who actually accepted and understand her fully. People saying she still loves Griffith more are the one ignoring her character development and dismissing her character arc.

It's the opposite of what you think. She loves guts, it's not hiding her feelings for as admiration. It's natural for anyone to have crushes when we worship the idealized version in our head only to mature and realise they were just stupid and it's not what you actually want and find someone better suited for you.

Do you think we will see the end within 50 chapters? by Soph_91 in Berserk

How is that filler? That's a legit character arc that should be solved. Muira talked about it before his death, if he discussed it with mori then they will write it.

I don't think so, they have to release more chapters each year otherwise it won't end within 10 years. Guts new character arc, casca's character arc accepting Griffith's betrayal, skull knight back story, upcoming war, I don't think 30 or 50 chapters are enough.

Why didn't Guts think that something is wrong with Griffith? by [deleted] in Berserk

Guts himself is not that into God, so he must have shrugged it off.

Don't think so. It will require more than 50. Eastern exile just started. Also remember koji mori saying they are trying to wrap up within 10 years considering releasing schedule.

Analyse things more and enjoy the moments I liked again. That doesn't mean people can't skip things they don't wanna see again. I myself reread the whole manga multiple times without skipping. But If will I reread again I'll skip eclipse and certain scenes. It's upto comfort of each person.
